The Lanting (Notting Hill)

• My wife is Chinese and we are both discerning eaters when it comes to Chinese cuisine
• A family came in with noisy children and a screen was promptly put up so we weren't bothered by them
• The prices are spot on as well
• The Launting restaurant is a venue located in the heart of the Nothing Hill and offers a typical traditional Chinese cuisine in a pleasant and comfortable atmosphere
• I can recommend to try the Crispy Duck Salad as a main and Chicken with Ginger and Onion or the Curry Pork Cutlets as a main meals
• Also their selection of noodles is nice as well
• It still seems to have much the same menu which is why I continued to frequent the place after the change
• The drop in quality was noticeable
• The last time it was a take away order that I placed for delivery
• I might try the place out one more time just to see if the problems were just temPorary and if they have refined the old touch because the food was always so good
• I have previously been here when it was called "
• A far more opulent version than what is now The Lanting
• Previously the offering under Seventeen was aspiring to be a Royal China of Notting Hill
• It was too pretentious with its direct from China statues
