  • Someone in the group with more knowledge of pakistani food orders for the table

  • The atmosphere is very buzzy and loud

  • Lets me set the expectation right before anyone goes there You are going to satisfy a carnal sin Gluttony and nothing else

  • Waiters make you feel like they are doing you a favour by serving you food

  • Possibly the best kebabs you can get in London

  • Lamb chops are succulent and juice

  • Chicken legs/ chicken tikka are heavenly and Karahi Gosht is makes you swoon

  • The icing on the cake is the price you dont have to wreck you bank to pay for the meal

  • Food is above average however kebabs especially lamb chops are my favourite

  • They also allow you to get your own alcohol which is very pocket friendly

  • Mango lassi and kulfi are also worth a try

  • Not a place for the vegetarians as options are not upto the mark

  • Quantity is very good and overall the restaurant is good value for money

  • You dont have to pay for drinks which is always expensive in all restaurants

  • Try chicken wings if you are going there

  • As there are not much options and the food is oily as well

  • A good value for money and they are quick with the service as well

  • One of the most famous 'curry house' of London is jam packed at most times and you'll have to wait for at least 15 20 minutes to be seated

  • As far as the food is concerned the starters take the cake kababs and lamb chops are absolutely fantastic

  • Fill yourself up with the starters and leave

  • A visit to Lahore Kebab House (Whitechapel) is always nostalgic

  • Spiced lamb chops to start and the biryani special for a main course are my favorites

  • The food was excellent with decent portions

  • One of the best curry house in London

  • Some of the best seek kebabs and lamb chops

  • The best part about the place is you can carry your own booze

  • Always filled with diners everyday of the week

  • I made a visit with my partner and although the ambiance is very basic

  • I remember when Lahore Kebab House (Whitechapel) was a small take away with just a family room available upstairs

  • Decor is nice and clean and service was relatively good considering the place

  • There is some things about the place which are good such as the quick service and the BYOB policy

  • Then for me this is all over ridden by how oily all their food and preps are

  • Granted a lot of the food from the region is fatty and naturally heavy but their preparations are a bit extreme

  • I have been going to Lahore Kebab House (Whitechapel) to eat with famile and friends for years seen I was young so the service here is allways amazing never had any problem

  • It is hard to get a sit some days as it is jam packed but sometimes its worth the wait

  • The 1st thing which comes to my mind is the best 'Nihari' i can eat in London at Lahore Kebab House (Whitechapel)

  • Been going there since 3 years now with friends &

  • Daal or the famed nihari 'LKH' is always going to be one of my fav places in the city for a nice eat out which stays in your memory for days

  • The only reason I gave Lahore Kebab House (Whitechapel) 4.5 instead of 5 is because the interior is a bit bland and if your going out with family or friends I find it's more pleasant to be in nice surroundings

  • The food here is fantastic with the best lamb chops in London (just better than Tayaabs) and the dry lamb is very good (Tayaabs is better) but you will have an excellent meal for a very cheap price

  • So much so that Chicken 'Tikka Masala' is oft referred to as Britain's national dish

  • There are but two contenders for Best Curry House and they are Tayyabs in Whitechapel or the one that gets my vote

  • The lamb chops are a must and within minutes of arriving on the table

  • This I only know because a lone chop was buried underneath a Paratha

  • At one point I was sorely tempted to cancel the more traditional mains and simply continue with the diet of flavoursome grilled meats with soft chewy Paneer to complement

  • With some of the best Dal Tarka I've ever tasted

  • The queues are snaking out the door here

  • Gossiping and making merry and by the time we are ready to leave

  • The food and menu is probably a little better

  • I went there with a group of friends

  • Main course was supposed to be shahi paneer but it was looked almost like chopped paneer floating in coloured water completely tasteless

  • I have heard a lot of people talk about them earlier so I was kind of excited to try out the food here

  • They took sometime to take our order but with the amount of people there

  • He wanted some lemon with it which took about 10 minutes to come and by which time the Tikkas had gone cold

  • Since we couldn't do anything at that time and we were quite hungry

  • The chops are bbqd to perfection with just the right amount of spice rub

  • The chicken starters were bit of a let down

  • The mains we ordered methi chicken with tandoori roti and also a kheema paratha

  • Food quantity is good for the price that you pay

  • I was very disappointed with this restaurant

  • The service was below acceptable

  • The appetisers were fine but I was shocked that the mains were warmed up after being kept frozen

  • The service was pretty great

  • The waiters were always attentive and they helped us in choosing the dishes too

  • The best part is you can get all that in not that much price so Lahore Kebab House (Whitechapel) is pretty cheap too

  • When my colleagues first started coming over here it was cheap but the time I joined the company the prices were steep

  • This alone would not have been an issue if it would have been at par with the service and the good quality food

  • Double check your bill to make sure they are only charging you for what you order

  • Let me be clear in warning you that the interiors are not pleasant to look at and be off putting

  • The service therefore is not very friendly and are in fact very busy with their work to wait on you

  • The service is efficient and overwhelming for such a set up

  • Lahore Kebab House (Whitechapel) is absolutely amazing and people who love curry must visit this sometime

  • The food was damn good and the staff was also friendly

  • I can assure you that Lahore Kebab House (Whitechapel) is definitely worth your money

  • The setting is like a canteen and you won't have to wait for too much of time before finding a table

  • Cor is quite good and this restaurant is a spacious one

  • They did provide me with the best combination

  • Hats off to the service despite the fact that you are mostly full

  • I'm going to come back again with a huge group

  • This is one of the best places in the city and serves amazing food

  • Lahore Kebab House (Whitechapel) will provide you the best for the amount of money that you are spending

  • They have huge variety and their service is really very fast

  • The ambience is also very good and the flavour was super yum

  • I would recommend Lahore Kebab House (Whitechapel) to everyone who is reading this review that don't think twice to go there and have fun

  • If your looking for the best Indian cuisine in the city

  • I totally love the place and think that the waiting in the queue is well worth it

  • The service has a lot of waiting staff who are really quick

  • The charges too are pretty appropriate

  • A mango smoothie that was like comfort food and that is it&rsquo

  • In case one is looking for something more fun along the atmosphere side

  • The best bit is that its is always a full three course meal

  • An authentic Indian restaurant in London that shall amaze and surprise on so many levels that it is absolutely delighting

  • The prices are reasonable and slightly bordering on being cheap

  • The must try are mango lassi

  • I have only ever tried Lahore Kebab House (Whitechapel) once but it was the best Pakistani cuisine I have ever tasted

  • The service is very quick and efficient and the prices are very less

  • The lamb curry was unappetising

  • This restaurant may not have the best decor and ambience but the food here makes up for the lack of that

  • The atmosphere was a bit noisy but I like that

  • Though I had to wait for a while for my order but it was worth it because the food was delicious

  • The best part is that you are not supposed to wait for long to get the table

  • The curries here are absolutely delectable and surely worth trying

  • The Lamb curry is one the best I have in town

  • The service here is not that great

  • I usually expect that now as it is not improving

  • One of the best places serving non vegetarian Indian cuisine

  • The lamb and meat curries are to die for but the service is unorganised

  • I have been visiting Lahore Kebab House (Whitechapel) for over 20 years now and it was the best in the city in its formative years

  • The food here is excellent and the menu varied

  • The restaurant is no ordinary kebab house and one of the best in the area

  • The service is quick and the food is delicious but the curry they have to offer is not the best I've had

  • It's a great place to go to with a few friends or a big group

  • The food here is just alright

  • The quality and taste was very average

  • The service was also just okay nothing was too great about Lahore Kebab House (Whitechapel) that would ask me to go again here

  • The quality and taste of food is so good that it can be considered at par with the best street food and the food is priced accordingly as well

  • I tried this amazing place where I had the best kebabs and curry that I have ever had in my life

  • The ambience was really cool and I had a great time there

  • The main attraction is the food with it's wonderful aroma and taste

  • We had the experience of trying this new place and were completely disgusted with the service

  • We were treated rather impolitely and got upset with the behaviour

  • We requested for another waiter and after a word with manager a new waiter took our order but he also wasn't any different from the previous one

  • The ambience was also quite nice but the main drawback of Lahore Kebab House (Whitechapel) was it's poor service and rude behaviour of the staff

  • Lahore Kabab house is the first place in London I remembering coming to for Indian/Pakistani food when the family moved here in 1990

  • The facilities are much cleaner than I remember them being

  • We were a large group of 9 people including 4 kids so a lot of food was ordered including a selection of mutton &

  • It helped that we were able to speak to the staff in Urdu so ordering was easier and except for a forgotten order of plain papad executed without any goof ups

  • The tikkas were well grilled &

  • The meal ended with a sweet paan

  • I'm just glad the meal was worth me violating one of my unwritten travel rules

  • The vegetarian wife was due to return from India the following week) to Aldgate East or thereabouts

  • A Peshawari Naan on the side dishes that were highly recommended by colleagues at work

  • This was a no frills kinda place something I was completely expecting

  • The service was prompt I was served the most succulent Nalli Nihari ever

  • Boisterous mega diner in Whitechapel with fast and surprisingly accurate service

  • Their speciality is the grilled meats and everything I tasted was good

  • I am especially fond of their grilled lamb chops that are thin (probably cut when frozen to achieve the thin as leather profile)

  • Paneer (cottage cheese) was made in color

  • )/ lamb chops(good) / prawn curry ('not too spectacular) / Karahi chicken (average) with a range of breads

  • Finished off with an amaaazing malai kulfi (on The stick

  • Lahore Kebab House (Whitechapel) is super crowded on weekends

  • The ambience is ordinary but the non vegetarian dishes are out of the ordinary

  • My favorites are the lamb chops

  • Lahore kebab is a must go restaurant in London

  • I have been there a couple of times and I was never dissatisfied

  • Had passed Lahore Kebab House so many times but never ended up going there but this time was really craving some good lamb chops so decided to try Lahore Kebab House (Whitechapel) out

  • I have to say these were probably the best lamb chops I've had

  • We also ordered Nihari with some naan which was brilliant

  • The service was a bit slow and wasn't very excited about the ambience but the food definitely makes up for it

  • The portions are big enough &

  • Recommendation the lamb chops and seekh kebabs are really good

  • The chicken jalfrezi was an average dish

  • I used to go here as a child with my parents

  • They always say it is the best Pakistani food in London and I have to say it is pretty damn good

  • The kebabs and chops are to die for and the karahi gosht is one of the specialities

  • The kheer is the best I have ever tried embelished with crushed nuts

  • It's reassuringly busy and the windows into the bustling kitchen is a great touch

  • Highlights of the meal were the starters we ordered of tandoori lamb chops and chicken wings which were outstanding

  • Salt lassi (tasteless) and also got to try the dry lamb (it has curry the name is deceiving but taste was good)

  • So Lahore Kebab House (Whitechapel) was recommended by a friend with the advice

  • 'make sure there is more than two of you'

  • Once in there is hardly anyone who'll attend to you

  • Butter chicken was sweet but tasty

  • They offered mango lassi for I think 8 quid which was nothing more than sweetened mango extract mixed in lassi

  • The food taste was good but Lahore Kebab House (Whitechapel) is highly overpriced and quantity is a joke

  • Overall a satisfactory experience with their taste and quantity

  • The place was full with people but to be honest i have had some better kebabs and food in london which supposed to be famous at Lahore Kebab House (Whitechapel)

  • The chilly mogo was tasteless and chilly paneer was very dry

  • Few food things were chicken biryani and chicken jalfarezi

  • Karahi Gosht and Karachi Chicken which was the best i have ever had in London

  • The chicken and meat flavored was very good but the smell of the restaurant was quite string

  • Kebab house serving delicious Pakistani cuisine with an option to do BYOB bring your own booze

  • The chicken and meat portions are good for sharing and the spice levels are customized per your requirements

  • Their Lamb Nihari and Sheekh is what keeps pulling me back everytime

  • Food was delicious no doubt but more than his gesture towards giving extra coz he was happy to serve the first time customers to this no less then legendary place among Londoner

  • What was surprising and pleasing was to see the place filled with mostly local Brits who were enjoying the kebabs curries like no tomorrow

  • We were greeted with 2 men getting intimate inside the entrance

  • Food quality was absurdly foul
