Lady Dinah's Cat Emporium (Bethnal Green)

• The cats are clearly the attraction here and they are very cute and well looked after
• The red velvet cake and pot of green popcorn tea I had were good and decent portions
• Where it needs improvement is in the service which we felt was surly and customers were definitely low down on their priority lists
• It could have just been that we were there on a Sunday morning but even so
• I must admit that the rating is for the cats
• The place is cosy with comfy sofas
• Everything is cat themed
• Lady Dinah's Cat Emporium (Bethnal Green) IS cool it was started by students on a crowdfunding bent
• You are in a glass box with passers by staring at you
• It is very quiet and there are a lot of rules
• With people staring at you from the real world AND there are ladies in lab coats feeding you cake
• I will still come back here with visiting feline fanatics
• It is still worth asking if you're passing by as they allocate time slots and there are often a few spare places going
• The stuff in the caffe are friendly and welcoming
• Lady Dinah's Cat Emporium (Bethnal Green) is such a cool idea
• I would like to say that I was definitely expecting a lot more cats than what I saw
• It was still an enjoyable experience to play with the cats I found prancing around
• I am an animal lover so I backed Lady Dinah's Cat Emporium (Bethnal Green) up as soon as it was on Kickstarter
• The bitterness of the chocolate was balanced with the sweetness of the orange
• We went in the morning but most of the cats were more interested in doing their own thing until right at the end
• The cafe/kitchen section is there with a scrummy looking array of cakes (forgot to ask where they get them from
• Downstairs there was lots of toys
• We went at 10 in the morning so some cats were still a bit sleepy and would much rather have been lounging around than being pestered by the 2 young kids that were in there
• Luckily they found a very playful young cat to play with so the others could carry on sleeping
• It was lovely though to see how happy these children were in the presence of cats
• The drinks menu is rather large
• As we were there for breakfast I had a smoked salmon and cream cheese bagel which was tasty and the fella had a scone/scon (depends if you say it wrong or not)
• After our belly's were full we still had over half of our 90min session left and I went round visiting but not touching the sleeping kittys
• I personally would have been super happy with one just sitting next to me
• I can see why they have the cover charge but it was a tad on the expensive side when the breakfast and drinks all added up
• I just wish I got to see where Petra was hiding before I left the building
• We had a ploughman's with a me sized portion of cheese (any less is a tragic waste of dairy) and a massive slice of banoffee pie to share
• The high tea is really good
• The staff clearly know the cats really well and are happy to show you how they like to play and be petted
• Gorgeous cats that are really friendly and enjoy the cuddles
