The tables are crammed together so if you&rsquo
-
Another way of saving money is clearing by employing inexperienced managers
-
The offending dish was still on it
-
By that time I was so annoyed by their attitude that I asked for the service charge
-
So sharing is just dangerous if you dine with me

I ordered fried eggs with pancetta and thinly sliced potatoes a hangover dream and my friend had fried eggs on toast with vegetables
-
Look beautiful but carrot cake was dried out and disappointing
-
The food is so good that I've been here three times already with the king prawn been at fault for it
-
We squeezed into a cosy spot by the window and relived our Barcelona trip with an icy mojito
-
The prawns were thick and juicy and they were the best part of the meal
-
The fillet was tender and served with red wine sauce lovely
-
The bombas fried mashed potato balls with minced meat were good
-
The paella was loaded with mussels
-
The churros were huge and piping hot just like the kind you&rsquo
-
I really liked the fact that even though we were sitting by the road
-
Their tapas are nice and I especially recommend trying their cheese selection
-
The food served at La Farola is absolutely delicious and amongst the best meals I have had on Upper Street
-
What I particularly like about this tapas restaurant is the fact that they serve up a generous portion of each plate
-
I am obsessed with the squid served here
-
Sharing five dishes between two with a bottle of wine sets you back around £
-
I most recently came here for a friend's birthday and was placed in the centre of the small restaurant on a high island table
-
Unfortunately I found the seating a little restricting as the thin table meant I was unable to speak to some of my friends
-
Personally opting for a elderflower and prosecco drink which was served in a very generous glass and tasted fantastic
-
As we were in a large party we were able to order a diverse range of dishes
-
Meaning you share everything and can really appreciate everything with your friends
-
That's how it is with tapas now a days
-
I stumbled upon La Farola with a few colleagues while walking down the high street in Islington
-
There are a number of 'Tapas' places in this area but this was the only one that was packed
-
The hostess suggested three to five portions if we were sharing we stuck to the minimum which was great as we were sufficiently satisfied at the end of our dinner
-
The croquetas de jamon were a little disappointing for lack of sufficient ham
-
The courgette flowers stuffed with goats cheese drizzled with honey was interestingly delightful
-
The bombas were HUGE and the garlic sauté
-
The only advice is to make a reservation before heading there
-
A quality tapas joint with with decent wine by the glass and a good ambiente though a tad too loud
-
Yet here they were serving dishes that sounded interesting and were portioned generously enough to be truly shared
-
Me and my friend only shared three dishes but they were filling enough
-
We had the tortiall jamon a chunky omelette that was the right side of squidgy with plenty of potato
-
I ordered the baked asparagus with this panko and parmesan encrusted spears served with aioli
-
The asparagus was so crunchy
-
With salmon that was cooked delicately
-
It's so nice when you stumble across somewhere that is just a joy
-
4 or 5 each to share is what we recommend&rsquo
-
Laz and Sacre Coeur is also home to La Farola Cafe (on the corner of Upper Street)
-
Then there is the bar for eating
-
The customers are quite chilled so there are no embarrassing silences or moments
-
What adds to the experience is the selection of charcuterie and cheese
-
The charcuteria and quesos are curated from different regions of Spain and are great for sharing
-
We also piled on some tapas with pimento padron
-
Vieiras con morcilla pan friend scallops with grilled Spanish black pudding
-
Additionally croquetas de jamon serrano ham croquets served with bravas sauce
-
I was pleasantly surprised as it is not easy to find good tapas in London
-
I mention this last as it was the only blip on the experience
-
We believe it was supposed to be served hot as it was warm on the outside but cold on the inside
-
Our waitress with the nose piercing was by far the best in the place
-
Unobtrusive and friendly service is two of my favourite things
-
Waitresses are switching between and actually like forgetting what and where need to serve
-
Cause music was way to loud and as well that type of music wasn&rsquo
