Koza (Lambeth)

• Generally middle eastern cuisine in South London is a lot cheaper and the grilled meats are not something to write home about
• The bread however is masterpiece
• I can honestly say it is the best kebab shop bread I have ever had and the garlic and chilli sauces are incredible
• The things I usually ordered was kebap with salad and chips on a side and baklava a typical sweet dessert for the Turkish and the Mediterranean cuisines
• 15 plus drinks (ayran which is again another Turkish typical drink milk with salt)
• The Dolma wine leaves stuffed with rice and pine nuts is amazing
• The Turkish pitta was warm and fresh too
• My date had Kebab which was also very good
• Decided to try Koza (Lambeth) out as it was close to our work place
• Skewers of meat were presented in glass fridges and we were greeted by super friendly staff
• We could smell the aromas from the food being cooked and we were instantly hooked
• The bread delivered to our table was moreish and fresh
• The menu was filled with a vast choice and I was impressed by the amount of seafood on offer
• On this occasion I ordered the lamb shish and was delighted by the reasonable price
• The portion was large and the meat was cooked perfectly
• It was just pink in the middle and the spices were balanced and not over powering
• Loved the lunch two course menu and the dips with fresh bread
• The veg moussaka was delicious as were the crisp filo rolls with spinach and feta
