  • A place so unique that despite being another small scale Indian restaurant in London it was featured in "

  • It felt like I was back in my hostel canteen

  • Don't be surprised to see a few lone eaters or someone might just start a conversation if you are sitting alone as well

  • The food is cooked to serve the Indian palate and probably that is one of the things that makes it so unique and could be a breath of fresh air for some regular British/Non Indian curry eaters

  • I saw the prices and I had to recheck if I was reading the pegboard menu correctly

  • By the end of it I was cursing myself for eating too much for a fiver

  • Onion bhajjis were probably not fresh and were ok

  • Being in London and able to eat vada sambar is heavenly in itself

  • I have to say it doesn't look at all appealing as soon as you walk in but once you understand that you are in a dining hall and NOT a restaurant then you really feel confortable

  • I would however recommend going there with a couple of friends so you can create your own atmosphere paired with the great food and have an amazing dinner

  • Warren Street Tube Station is 5 minute walk

  • Fitzrovia Square is very beautiful area

  • Regent Park is just 2 minute walk

  • Rooms are well maintained with a reasonably sized attached bath

  • Big attraction is that the room rate includes Indian breakfast and dinner

  • Indian bread is roti which needs improvement

  • The meal times are a tad inconvenient

  • Staff at the reception are very helpful

  • If you working in Central London (Zone 1 /2) or moving around where less options are available for &ldquo

  • Before I go ahead with more details on Food Part

  • Need to mention that this is one of the good option to stay if you are alone and planning to spend more time in central London and not want to spend much in Travel

  • Mango lassi was decent but not as good as Sarvana Bhavan

  • M all about finding the best tasting food no matter where I end up

  • I was intrigued with a colleague&rsquo

  • The yellow dal was especially good

  • It's a tad expensive maybe but don't think twice about coming if you are craving proper Indian food

  • Been here couple times while i was in London for summer school (3 4 weeks)

  • The place is really good and serves quality vegetarian Indian food which is rare to find in London

  • The ambience is simplistic and nothing fancy

  • I must say they are very polite

  • The staff and chefs are approachable and all in all make a good place to visit

  • The breakfast which was given (as I was staying here) is decent you will have options to have bread (normal white and brown) toasted or plain with jams &

  • Decent fare with vegetable dishes

  • A moderate to heavy eater the price is just right

  • Fixed Dinners is what we got (2 days) you have an option of a dessert also I was lucky one day I got payasam or kheer and other day it was a fruit

  • The food has South Indian influence but its a good option if you are tired of eating other stuff

  • The dining hall has fixed timing and they are pretty strict about the same

  • The food they serve is absolutely delicious and not too heavy on the pocket wither

  • The service was so friendly
