Indian Lounge - King's Cross (King's Cross)

• I can honestly say its the best Indian I've ever tasted
• I would travel from far and wide if I was to ever move away
• The food is superb and the prices are definitely reasonable
• I had a nice quiet dinner alone and the staff were very friendly and attentive
• Must try the Tandoori Mix Grill with a side of Chana Begun
• As it's a new place it is fresh and modern
• Restaurant is straight across the road from Kings Cross
• The peshwari naan was not that good
• Just definitely not the best I've tasted
• The service was slow and the food wasn't well spiced
• I couldn't tell the difference between the 2 curries and my chipatti was so small considering the cost
• Rotis and naans were like rubber
• I sent them back since they were cold and he brought the same again
• So we had just landed in London and were walking around the city searching for a good Indian cuisine place which serves halal food and thats when Indian Lounge caught my eye
• The place was quite charming and the staff was extremely lovely
• Everything we had was absolutely wonderful and we had no complaints at all
• The quantities were huge as well
• No tables were available at 9pm and after going downstairs and back upstairs we were told it would be a 30 minute wait
• Sometimes fast food is a better idea
• Visited this restaurant with my friends
• Been to this restaurant with my husband
• There was a Waiter who was short and he was only attending locals and no one was attending our table
• When we informed that restaurant guy ( he was a short guy) that the food was really bad and the roti was hard
• Small place but was fully packed
• Food was delicious though kulfi was not good at all
• The staff were very hounding we didn't even get in the door and they were very determined to get us in the restraurant before we had even had looked at the menu
• The staff were very ill mannered and the food was very small
• The atmosphere was negative and the there was customers swearing and of an offensive nature
• The most thing that upset me was when they sent my bill to the table and they had added on a £
• 10 charge for SERVICE CHARGE that was not clear when you ordered your food
• The service was not good enough for a charge
• This time the food was a bit cold
• The drinks were expensive for the area
• Who really made our visit enjoyable he was fabulous but the rest of the staff (all male
• Have never seen a female working in Indian Lounge - King's Cross (King's Cross) ever) could do with some lessons in how to smile/enjoy life
• So I don't think I'll be back as there are hundreds of other options close by to choose from
• Knowing that he was NOT INTERESTED in the creepy old man that was prowling around him
• I can't understand why they are still in business
• I came here on a Monday evening with 6 people after finding out the queue for dishoom was 1.5 hours
• We ordered 5 starters (to share) and 6 mains and there was at least 3/4 quarters of the food left at the end
• The only thing that was not bland was the tandoori prawns
• Instead they were way too salty and over cooked
• The portions of the starters were tiny and very overpriced 5.99 for about 100g of food which we left because it tasted that bad
• As soon we entered we were asked to order quickly
