Hanoi Cafe (Hoxton)

• Hanoi Cafe is one of the series of Vietnamese restaurants at the beginning of Kingsland road
• I am afraid it is definitely not among the best ones
• Hanoi Cafe is substantially cheaper than the others
• We ordered bun (rice vermicelli) with grilled fish with dill
• There weren't any fresh herbs that almost any Vietnamese dish is traditionally served with &ndash
• All we got with out bun was some simple shredded lettuce
• The second main was duck coconut curry &ndash
• Hanoi Cafe is quite under rated
• I ordered a hot prawn dish (discovered afterwards the rice was charged separately)
• The place had a relaxed atmosphere and was full of people who were regulars
• Our friend ordered a DIY dish where she rolled her own spring rolls with rice paper
• My order of rice noodles with seafood was a little bland
• 2 per person is somewhat steep
• Regardless of whether they were partaking in wine and would require a glass
• Atmosphere was laid back and more bohemian than the other Viets on the Kingsland Road strip
• Kingsland road is tough competition for Vietnamese food
• The costs for Hanoi Cafe (Hoxton) are cheaper then the rest on Kingsland road and the food is just still as authentic
• I would say Hanoi Cafe (Hoxton) is great value for money
