Guglee (West Hampstead)

• The waiter was a bit serious
• The food was however was nothing special
• Its a lovely little small restaurant small but that is fine so long as you aren't a big group
• How the food is being prepared
• Being Indian I found the food slightly bland and the potions are tiny for the price they charge
• Service was very quick and staff was lovely smiling and chatting with everyone around
• This is the best local Indian restaurant in the area
• The staff are lovely and the kitchen produces classic Indian cuisine with a modern twist
• I think you can judge an Indian restaurant on the quality of its vegetarian dishes and Guglee serve the best vegetarian Indian food I've had in a local restaurant
• If you ask nicely they'll teach you how to make the best masala chai too
• I've just never really gotten along with Guglee (West Hampstead) others love it
• My guinea fowl tikka starter was really dry
• My lamb shank main was nothing to write home about either
• Going for the set lunch menu with a more 'normal' style was reasonable but nothing special the typical rice
• The real problem was that i found a bug in the vegetable grill
• After that the manager said that it was only a fly
• The service is efficient and friendly
• The lack of a polished interior design job is reflected in the prices
• 10 12 per person for a curry with several sides to share (if some of the mains ordered are vegetarian)
• The aloo chaat and sev puri were very tasty and typical Indian street style
• Chicken tikka was nicely grilled and marinated
• The taste is good for an outside home rajma (which is tough to find great tasting)
• Aloo parantha was quite disappointing as it&rsquo
• The bread was thin with abysmal filling and the aloo was not even well spiced
• Very unlike the real famous paranthas of india which are a delight to eat
• Mini dosa with coconut chutney was also not authentic South Indian filling and chutney
• T seem freshly ground and the potato filling was the same as aloo parantha
