  • The Smiths is an amazing place

  • Social area where the food is inexpensive and people tend to be drinking

  • Where the menu is slightly more up market

  • There is an amazing terrace where you can dine with a beautiful view above the market

  • The view and food are really worth it

  • A choice of 3 floors with 3 different atmospheres

  • Is a great place for brunch or lunch with family or friends

  • Especially if one is caught in a furious desire to burgers

  • Hollandaise sauce is freshly prepared by the cook

  • The vitamin cocktail fruit and vegetables are also ideal to gain strength and bring a healthy touch to the meal

  • Opposite Smithfield Market and next to the famous club electro Fabric The SOS is an unmissable appointment

  • 4.0 because it's not the best steak I've had

  • Bit disappointed with the service

  • I'll recommend the rib eye with Bernaise highly

  • You can't go wrong with anything you choose from the menu

  • My favourite is Eggs Benedict

  • Smithfield is the Grade II listed four floor restaurant in the heart of Smithfield Market

  • We dined in the Ground Floor Cafe which was very vast with exposed brickwork and plenty of large windows that allowed in plenty of natural light from outside

  • Our first dish was the eggs benedict with ham

  • The eggs were perfectly poached with nice runny yolks

  • The second was the smoked haddock fishcake which was nice and round ish

  • Served with another nicely poached egg with a runny yolk

  • Our third option was the BBQ pulled pork sandwich with coleslaw

  • Overall we were happy with our orders

  • The only reason it's 2* is because the waiter was very apologetic when I complained and had the sense to charge us nothing for the food and for only 1 round of drinks

  • Came here 1st June for burger and chips and it was a pretty decent burger actually

  • I liked the decor although the hallways with huge photos of butchers and the style of the toilets reminded me of the horror film saw

  • We had a couple of fish starters that were really clean tasting and well portioned to leave room for mains

  • The wagyu burger was incredible

  • Downstairs Smiths is great for a drink after work with a great atmosphere and well priced drinks is also good for a breakfast at the weekends (only around £

  • First floor dining is averagely priced and the burgers are wonderful

  • The waiting staff were extremely polite and engaging

  • Their juices are lovely I had the carrot and ginger one and ordered the steak salad

  • The meat itself was cooked perfectly at a medium rare standard the salad itself was just rocket as stated on the menu and the onions were delicious

  • The dressing had a good taste but was far too oily which even left a bit of an oily aftertaste in my mouth

  • We were satisfied with the decision
