The Good Earth (Knightsbridge)

• The wasabi prawns were mixed with honey
• Very bad service and arrogant waitresses and also the bathroom was so untidy and smelly
• Good earth is a michelin guide restaurant and it is quite good i really like the peking duck at this restaurant it was cooked to perfection and had a nice almost smokey flavour to it
• The other dishes were also very nice they had the right amount of spice and were perfectly seasoned
• The soups on the other hand were average and i did not enjoy them as much as the duck or the entree dishes
• The restaurant is situated in a lovely location it is right in the centre of knightsbridge a short walk from harrods
• The interiors are done up quite well and have a very nice oriental touch to them
• I would recommend this restaurant to all people whether they are going for a formal meeting or a casual family lunch
• This restaurant is a little heavy on the pocket so just keep that in mind before making your reservation
• I must say that the place did become busy but not loud which is nice and service was good
• I sat in the basement area and the restaurant really does need sprucing up and is showing some real signs of age
• The food I am afraid is the main problem in that there is nothing special and just like any local take away can provide
• I didn't have any issues with the service
• Otherwise there are plenty of better Asian restaurants
• The nearest tube station is Knightsbridge

• The chicken was mediocre and it only took several mouthfuls until I wished my wine was a large glass of milk
• I always assume that there is at least a little garnish to what is already quite a steeply priced dish
• I don't think my wallet was particularly impressed and I doubt I will go back

• Had spicy lamb with lemongrass as main
• Had chicken with lemon grass which was especially nice
