Gokyuzu (Harringay)

• Right away we were given bread and a dip
• Its a meat feast here and i wish i came with a larger party so i could justify the large order
• I will be coming back here again with a small group of meat eaters and a empty stomach
• They were not very easy to work with as i booked it for a sunday afternoon and they said that was one of their busiest times
• 25 meal platters as this seemed liked the best choice for a large group
• Everything is just great
• Topped it all with decent in house baklava
• While the waiter did seem bewildered at the rate we were finishing off the complimentary breads
• He remained quite jovial about it and magically reappeared every five minutes with a freshly baked batch
• Gokyuzu (Harringay) is incredible
• The best Turkish restaurant in london and I can confirm it that their competitors are only in Turkey
• This is the best kebab I've ever had
• This is probably the best kebab place in London
• Their staff are professional
• I had no favourite because they are all as good as each other
• There is a reason why Gokyuzu (Harringay) is always busy
• One of the best Turkish restaurants to dine in
• The best part of this whole experience is that I felt like I was at home
• Unless you are 2 3 Americans
• The restaurant is very busy and cramped
• As I told one of them I want my food to be packed away for takeaway and he nodded his head and then was no where to be seen
• Anyways I would say if you are on Green Lane
• Price is moderate definitely no way near the best Turkish restaurants out there
• Ordered the small platter which is for 2 3 people however was too much food for even four people
• You can normally get a table if you are prepared to wait
• The service is swift and friendly
• A large mixed salad with pomegranate sauce and lemon juice
• Garlic and dill is brought to the table
• The slightly salted blended yogurt drink which was very refreshing on such a warm evening
• My partner is turkish and swooned over Gokyuzu (Harringay)
• Then order more if you are still hungry
• The service and ambience were great and just based on the sheer number of turkish people here you know it is a quality place
• As a Turkish person I can say from the bottom of my heart that this is an amazing restaurant to have turkish food
• The prices are really good according to the quality of the foods
• The dishes are really delicious and the mezes that they serve as treat are amazing too
• Otherwise you may need to wait a little bit because of the queue which is a result of its delicious foods
