Sofra (Marylebone)

• Being in the middle of st Christopher place is a good start for any restaurant
• I was still blown away by the lamb at Sofra (Marylebone) the food was really good enough to compete with most other restaurants I have been to serving the same cuisine
• The food is not very pricey at all and a meal for two without drinks is 30 40 inclusive of service
• It's a bit cramped for space so doesn't make for a very private dining experience and that's probably why one would not rate it as a best best restaurant out there

• The service we received there was very kind and postive
• The food itself however was in my opinion mediocre
• Because the people I was with seemed to be very appreciative of theirs
• The service was nice and the place is not pricey
• The food was satisfying though nothing to rave about and service was very slow even though they were empty
• The meat was quite juicy which was nice but other than that nothing special in any form
• The lamb was tender and juicy and so was the chicken
• Cristophers square (that's were a lot of turkish and lebanese restauraunts are)
• In the corner of the square we found this small but super busy restaurant (mind you it was a Thursday night)
• It took them 40 mins to get us a table plus the manager was super rude to us
• The highlight was lamb with hummus
• We also had kazandini (desert) which was simply marvellous
• Over all the food was great but the management could work on their hospitality
• Layer of tomato paste with yogurt on the side
• The second dish that I ordered was kofta with rice which was good
• I order a lamb kofta chili with iskendar kabab and taboula
• Food came 30 minutes later and was cold as it had been in the open for quite some time
• Waiters were not trained at all and seems that they hire day workers who are car valets
• We waited over 40 min for our food and the staff is not polite or helpful at all
• The seating outside is bit crammed
• Who argues with a customer like that
