Frizzante (Bethnal Green)

• Offering brunches catering to all tastes with a separate blackboard of scrummy pasta dishes thrown in for good measure
• The interior is fairly basic standard cafe issue tables and chairs
• The tomatoes are still on the vine and sweet and sharp and simply grilled along with the Mushrooms
• Is one of the best options on the menu
• Husband opts for the Farmer Breakfast with a full complement of Sausage
• The atmosphere homespun and there is the option of farmyard amusement before and after
• In a city so saturated with restaurants and café
• It's inevitable that each one is desperate for a unique selling point
• It's that Frizzante is attached to Hackney City Farm
• Lemon drizzle but they were pretty darn good nonetheless
• It gets very crowded at the weekends and is full of buggies

• The supper club was held in the lovely surrounding of the Frizzante restaurant attached to Hackney City Farm
• Behind I Love Your Hat are the lovely couple Carmen and Marco
• I knew my tastebuds were in for a treat
• Who talked me and my fellow table guests Lucas and Amy through what each menu item was and the wine pairings
• We then moved onto wonderful ravioli with lamb&rsquo
• Next arrived an unctuous risotto served with a crisp walnut salad &ndash
• Skillfully created and beautiful cuisine created by Marco during the evening was like a fun rollercoaster of foodie exploration through new flavours and textures
• Wonderful hospitality from Carmen as if you were in their home
• The cakes were fab we had 1 carrot cake 3 chocolate vegan cake and one chocolate tarte with salted caramel
• The place had a feel of a little coffee place with mismatch furniture I enjoyed it

• Also on offer are of course the previously mentioned ginger and spring onion sausages
• Locally sourced meat and are handmade on the premises
• Also available to buy are free range French whole chickens
• It's clear that Peter and his staff are proud of their East End heritage
• It feels like buying into something really special which I guess is quite rare these days
• The prices here at least are not expensive at all
• Time to start making an effort with my weekly shop
• You are certainly left with a real sense of community
• Come and celebrate the summer in style with us this week at Frizzante
• Cocktails at 5pm on the terrace served with homemade antipasti and the BBQ starts at 6pm
