  • Feng Shang Princess is a hidden gem on the Regents Park canal

  • Regents Park is a bit of a walk

  • This pagoda style eatery is completely worth building your appetite with ten minutes of a brisk stroll

  • Overlooking a few docked house boats on the canal and the lower part of the restaurant being an open deck that is usually shut in the winters

  • The upper deck on street level is beautifully adorned with Chinese lanterns

  • Dimly lit interiors that are not too lavish but comfortable and romantic

  • We started with half a bottle of sake

  • I happen to be a fan so this was bliss for me on a cold December evening

  • The portions were great with 6 large pieces in each of the dishes

  • The wasabi sauce was absolutely amazing with the right amount of zing while not being too overpowering

  • The duck rolls with a slight tinge of sweetness were the perfect complement to the spiciness of the wasabi sauce

  • We had the Phat Phong Basil Chicken with Beans and Stir Fry King Prawns with Sugar Snap Peas in Yakiniku Sauce

  • Both dishes were absolutely commendable but the portions were so large for two people that we couldn't finish everything

  • This little hidden place just off Regent Street Park is one of the best hidden treasures

  • It's an oriental restaurant with Thai and Chinese as their main cuisines

  • The location is something that attracted it to me first

  • The food was one of the best I have had in a very long time

  • Not the absolute best Chinese restaurant in London but worth a visit for it's location and uniqueness

  • Situated in Regent's Park it was magnificently hand crafted in the 1980's

  • As I said the food is not great and a little bit expensive but you are more coming for the visit than for the quality of the food

  • Food didn't take too long to come and was steaming hot on arrival

  • This restaurant is set on a boat in regents park canal

  • Portion sizes are adequate and the price is reasonable

  • (Ps pictures with no flash didnt want to disturb other customers)

  • This is an extremely quaint and romantic floating canal side restaurant that is set on the Regents Canal

  • This could have been one of the best romantic restaurants in London

  • It is not and things are not helped by an over complicated and extensive menu

  • There are a few very good dishes and such a romantic setting is hard to find

  • Feng Shang Princess is not a restaurant you will just pass by and say

  • Don't go here if you are trying to newly build an impression with a date

  • The crispy duck with plum sauce and pancakes

  • Portion sizes are quite enormous

  • The prawns are lip smacking and would go here again just for the prawns

  • The chicken in mango chilli sauce has drama with the sweet and spicy

  • Duck excellent with large portions

  • The dessert menu can do with some fixing

  • Especially as this is a fabulous date night venue

  • Next the crispy shredded beef came and was by far the best dish on offer

  • Feng Shang is the first floating restaurant of its kind

  • The boat pays a homage to its heritage with its long rooms decorated in traditional adorning Chinese flair

  • Inside there is plenty of seating and tables with quirky knick knacks hidden at every turn

  • Feng Shang Princess is an authentic chinese resturaunt very close to regents park and to Camden town

  • Our original spot to try was an Italian place up in Belsize Park but sadly without checked that holiday closing times online the restaurant was closed by the time we arrived

  • That whole night was freezing cold so we were trying to locate the closest place after deciding to go Chinese and google maps refereed us to Feng Shang princess rated 4.0

  • All the food tasted amazing and was worth it in the end

  • The waiter then presented us with the deserts menu but we were way too full to try fit another dish and we're excused

  • We were hoping to have a similar experience at Feng Shang but we were thoroughly disappointed here

  • One was a measly portion of prawns in black bean sauce with a few token vegetables and the other was stir fried scallops in ginger and garlic

  • Contained only four scallops and again some token soggy vegetables I am pretty sure the baby corn was from a tin and not fresh
