This restaurant is located behind Euston station
-
In a street where many others indian restaurants are one next to each other
-
The place isn't particularly good looking but it was full on a weekday
-
I think the one I really liked was the paneer and sag dosa
-
Drummond Street is probably best known for it's kebabs
-
It's fair to say that the veggies are well represented there too
-
That not alone (there are identikit places on the same street
-
Although sounds like a good deal is quite pricey when compared to the equivalents in other places (like good ol' Green Street)
-
The variety was pretty good right down to the gulab jamun and fruit I had for dessert
-
Overall the meal we had was worth the tenner
-
My only complaint would be with the facilities there the place was quite cramped
-
Overall it was a nice enough place to eat on a random Saturday outing
-
In a street brimming with smells and flavors of India
-
Where lunch buffets are in abundance Diwana holds promise
-
Like most of the establishments in this street Diwana is rather cramped
-
A 7 8 pound buffet with good food makes the place seem a tad more cramped with people here
-
Surprisingly most of the food was pretty decent and not very far from what the dish is actually supposed to taste like
-
The food could be a little hotter (temperature and taste) and without so much oil but overall is pretty satisfactory
-
Coworkers or any random group for this is a place to binge when you are low on cash
-
The south Indian vegetarian food here is excellent if you order carefully
-
The samosas here are generous in size
-
Bursting with mixed vegetable filling and served with a spicy tomato sauce
-
The de luxe dosa (basically a large crisp pancake stuffed with a spicy potato and onion filling) is also excellent
-
Though the main course curries are rather ordinary
-
Here quite thick in texture with a hint of saffron
-
The only reason I do not score this higher is that if you stray from the snacks on to their main course curries you will be disappointed
-
If you stick to the sort of dishes I describe then you will have a meal that is easily 12/20 level (and higher in places)
-
It will taste just as bad as it is cheap) but pick something you want to drink
-
What stands out is its South Indian selection
-
The place is very constricted and the seating area is way too narrow to be comfortable
-
I was more than happy with my South Indian plate
-
Not too happy with the ambiance or the North Indian platter my friend had called for too oily for both of us
-
The restaurant provides customers with cheap and well cooked vegetarian food
-
My favourite dish is the deluxe dozer for £
-
I must confess that I don't have any biases and to me good food is good food irrespective of the region it comes from
-
The spread was good but every dish had a strange tangy taste which I didn't quite like
-
The service left much to be desired and their pace at refilling was quite poor
-
None of the food they served was hot or even warm which doesn't quite gel well with the Indian belief of serving hot food to its guests
-
It must be pointed that the tables in the restaurant are quite adjacent to each other
-
I must admit the restaurant is extremely pocket friendly and at their prices I am not sure how much more could they have done
-
I have been a regular at this restaurant and it is just keeps getting better with every visit
-
The service is impeccable and the staff is friendly and extremely hospitable
-
The attention they pay to their food is clear with how i found a gravel in my buffet dish
-
The staff refused to accommodate this in billing and were rather arguing
-
This status of an 'Indian' restaurant making Dal or Thali absolutely awful is disappointing
-
Diwana Bhel Poori House (Euston) has amazing food which are nothing short of being incredible
-
The menu is quite inviting too with various options ranging form dosas to other snacks as well
-
My favorite is their Bhelpoori which is just beyond amazing
-
The service is a tad bit grumpy and i prefer to pay the service charge as a tip for the staff
-
Ten minutes into the lunch buffet and they had started to clear the dishes on the buffet with no intentions of refilling them
-
The service was nice and friendly and the staff were very helpful quite contrary to what read in the reviews
-
This is a wonderful place to eat at if you are craving some nice vegetarian food
-
The service however is a little sub par but the food more than makes up for it
-
It offers a wide selection with everything cooked perfectly well
-
The prices are also reasonable
-
The ambiance was also very nice and unpretentious
-
A nice place with some really good and affordable food right in the heart of London
-
Doesn't take pre bookings and the setting is quite ordinary really
-
The service is quick and wonderful
-
If you like south Indian food this is the place for you
-
Their coconut chutney was a surprise for us
-
The only loophole we found is that Diwana Bhel Poori House (Euston) did not take bookings
-
They offer the main dishes with a huge pile of rice or a lot of chapatis
-
The prices are decent and well compliment the portion sizes
-
The service is prompt as the place is always crowded
-
Diwana Bhel Poori House (Euston) will offer you authentic South Indian cuisine which according to me is very delicious
-
Atmosphere here is very lively and you will have a good time here
-
The interiors are warm and cozy
-
The variety and unique combinations of food is absolutely delightful here
-
The Rava Delux Dosa that I tired was delicious and was accompanied by hot and spicy sambhar
-
The chutneys I tried were rather fresh
-
In my opinion it is just a money making scam
-
Unless everyone with you is present
-
My personal favorite is their paneer dosa
-
I had wanted to check it out for a really long time and was glad to have finally paid it a visit
-
The place has a youth hostel kind of ambiance and is very simplistic
-
The food overall was pretty decent and tasted delicious
-
Diwana is by far the best vegetarian Indian buffets I have ever been to
-
The food here is rich of proteins and has a correct balance of thoughtfully induced spices
-
I visited Diwana Bhel Poori House (Euston) for an Indian buffet last week with my partner
-
The service is not quite attentive and have an indifferent hospitality
-
Chapattis along with several dishes of pulses
-
The food was excellent and definitely was not too salty
-
All the combos I tried were excellent and the flavours were there in every dish I tasted
-
They also house some good snacks such as the bhel poori with puffed rice
-
The prices were also reasonable and I had a good filling lunch
-
The interiors were basic and the place was cramped but its the food for which you go
-
This has to be one of the best I have gone to for Indian food
-
The dessert was an absolute delight and soaking with sugar
-
The all you can eat menu is so cheap and filling
-
Especially with some lovely vegetarian options
-
This restaurant was alright in my opinion
-
I expected a lot more from it due to its long association with the city and its crowd
-
Their Gujarati dishes are off the mark and not really that authentic as i would have liked
-
The portion size was huge and the taste was incredible too
-
I tried this restaurant specialising in bhel poori and was pretty impressed with it
-
The ambience resembles more of a 70s restaurant and the interior is in need of some renewal
-
The location is just fine and was packed on a Sunday evening as well
-
Filled with a potato mixture and was served with curry sauces
-
I felt the filling was a little bland
-
The food is really good and is available at reasonable prices while the service of Diwana Bhel Poori House (Euston) is very efficient as well
-
Diwana Bhel Poori House (Euston) is worth going for a meal of bhel poori alone
-
Diwana Bhel Poori House (Euston) is extremely suitable if you want to take your family out for a good dinner
-
The service here is really efficient and up to the standards
-
Almost each dish is appealing and appetizing
-
Service as well is prompt and pleasing
-
The buffet along with the tempting desserts are on my hit list and I make sure that I always have them whenever I visit here
-
Dosa and samosas as suggested by Andy and they were soo amazing
-
The food served here is delicious and worth the money
-
Most of the dishes offered in the menu are nicely prepared and tastes delicious
-
We found the place to be full of customers but we were still given a table very promptly
-
The atmosphere inside was quite cosy and warm
-
The staff made sure they were attentive and helpful to everyone despite being extremely busy
-
The service was prompt without being rushed
-
Diwana Bhel Poori House (Euston) is a very good example for terrible customer service
-
The waiter was really not concerned about the cleanliness or hygiene at our table
-
He brought the wrong order at our table and convinced us later that this is what we have ordered
-
The person was unconcerned and unsympathetic about it
-
The service here though sometimes seemed a little indifferent is overall quite nice and attentive
-
The quality of food is supreme and not a diluted version at all
-
The prices are quite appropriate and the value for money is quite good
-
I recommend one trues their amazing mango lassi and the dosa which was flavorsome and just perfect
-
The lunch buffet here is worth a try
-
If they run out of a dish they replace it with a new one and not re fill it
-
The restaurant is set like a typical old style Bombay cafe
-
The buffet at 6.95 is an excellent deal and an easy way to show other people what different types of food are available in India
-
Gulab jamun and rasmalai were good to try as well
-
My second visit here was not very friendly as they had set times to serve their chat section
-
Its not available between 12 3 unless you chose to have the buffet (but the name is Diwana Bhel Poori house so that chaat should be available at all times)
-
They reluctantly agreed but our waiter was quite cold and did not serve us really well we had to ask for the bill thrice
-
Thats honestly a huge let down as I was so excited when I first found Diwana Bhel Poori House (Euston) thinking I could go there anytime
-
They even asked us to leave while we were still planning to order more food
-
They said 'there were other customers waiting to get a seat'
-
The place always seems busy when they are doing this buffet lunch
-
Diwana Bhel Poori House is a 100% vegetarian restaurant in Euston specialising in North Indian street foods and South Indian breakfasts
-
I went there for a nice lunch with a friend and we ordered a lot of food (£
-
Finally I downed my coffee and asked for the bill because it was so uncomfortable
-
In the end we were only there for 40 min before we had to go
-
S throw away from the architectural and culinary dead zone that is Euston Station
-
Split over two floors and lined with grungy 70s era wood paneling
-
One waiter told us to move our table because we were taking too much room
-
Another put dirty cutlery on companion's plate while she was still eating
-
The waiter cam back with a revised bill demanding that we pay corkage
-
We were planning for team buffet and went for enquiry but staff was least bothered to listen us
-
The Dessert was great (jamun
