Curry Den (Bermondsey)

• Rest of the fare can be pretty average but vindaloo is what you want to order
• The biryani is fairly decent but at the given price point
• Delivery was not exactly prompt ( it took more than one hour) but when the food came was still warm and they hand included a complimentary side
• Although the Daal was nothing special the spicy Vindaloo more than compensated for it
• We went there to pick it up instead and the chicken was not even cooked it was still alive
• When I phoned to complain I got told it was from another Indian not here
• Rudely told it should have been delivered and phone was hung up on me
• I called at the hour mark and was told they were busy and were using a new driver
• I called another half hour later to tell them the wait was unacceptable
• The tardiness and poor service (one would expect a courtesy call if the food is going to arrive that late) left a bitter taste in my mouth
