Curio Cabal (Dalston)

• The soup arrived with the bread and was quite tasty
• I asked for it when there was a quiet moment during service and was presented with a side plate of cheese slices with a few small hairs on them
• The home made baked beans are really good
• Curio Cabal is one of the coziest places around Haggerston and a real second home on a lazy Sunday afternoon
• The coffee is always impeccable and the guys are chatty and always serve you with a smile
• The baked eggs with bell peppers are absolutely delicious
• Cute retro cafe with a hipster feel
• The atmosphere is nice and I enjoyed the baked eggs but the reason I'm giving Curio Cabal a 3 is because 1
• The prices are not particularly competitive nor is the food particularly delicious
• I'm giving Curio Cabal quite a solid rating here which I think is highly justified by the amazing food offered by TA TA here
• I believe there are also plans to serve lunch too
• Meaning he and she in Mandarin is run by Zijun Meng and Ana Gonç
• Alves who both worked with Nuno Mendes at Viajante and Chiltern Firehouse
• Curio Cabal is a brilliant little spot in Haggerston
• The inside is small but not cramped
• Each table is adorned with highly instagrammable succulents in a variety of quirky
• The terrace is big and whilst it looks on to the main road
