  • Chiltern Firehouse (Marylebone) might offer you a great coffee but what they could not offer was a good service

  • What I did not understand was that why did they offer us that place if it was previously booked

  • I have to say that the dinner was delicious and location was also very beautiful

  • I had nibbles of cornbread with maple bacon butter

  • I decided to have carrot cake crumbs with juliette baked carrot strips and horseradish ice cream

  • Also the staff was very good and they charged my phone during the dinner

  • I would recommend you people to give a visit to this restaurant as it is doing a really good job

  • The place is always busy with celebrities coming and going every now and then

  • It has amazing lightning and the setting is so beautiful

  • I ate The Chiltern Firehouse here it was something very different but it was pretty amazing too

  • I would love to come here again and will try different dish which are present on the menu

  • All with a twist that are available here

  • The exterior of it was very sophisticated

  • The portions were also huge(filling)

  • The ambiance is lovely along with being very pleasant

  • I had one of the best steak's in town here

  • The overall food quality is also great and is reasonably priced

  • Especially the steak tartar which was cooked to perfection

  • The drinks were also pretty good

  • The ambience was pretty decent and thus

  • The only thing could about the place is the way the interiors have been done because that is one very important things to be kept in mind in London

  • Neither does it taste all that delicious nor is it pocket friendly

  • The prices are steep considering the very average food Chiltern Firehouse (Marylebone) has to offer

  • The service is pretty decent

  • The interiors are beautiful and the ambiance is both positive and calm and fun

  • I reserved a table a few months in advance but we were still made to sit uncomfortably at a table of three instead of four

  • The food and the service were only tolerable at best

  • The food and drinks were tolerable at best and the service average

  • The staff here was quite charming when we first entered

  • The cocktails were quite average

  • I mean the food was good but I have better food at other places

  • The dishes containing egg were really good

  • We also ordered their house wine which was very nice and refreshing

  • Visited Chiltern Firehouse (Marylebone) for brunch and were welcomed by surprised staff on not having any reservation even though the restaurant was empty

  • The atmosphere is bustling and vibrant

  • I had ordered the doughnuts and the fried chicken and it was all delectable and sumptuous

  • The prices were also reasonable

  • The decor here is quite classy and elegance and yet manages to retain a very relaxed ambiance

  • My visit to this restaurant was planned a month in advance

  • On one of my previous visits I was seated at a table at the bar from where the bar was visible

  • I appreciate the prompt service and enjoyed the snacks which were fried chicken and cauliflower

  • We arrived here one evening and noticed that the place was quite packed of people who seemed to be enjoying themselves

  • My first impressions were how wonderfully friendly and almost over polite the staff were

  • The security guard greeted me out the front and was up for some chit chat while I waited for a friend to join me

  • Anyway with the contrast of the red brick and dark wooden features I was already starting to feel like it was my kind of place

  • I was asked if I was happy to sit on the Chefs table area and of course I was more than satisfied with his arrangement

  • It appeared that we were sitting on a breakfast type bar I always like the idea of sitting near the kitchen in the restaurant

  • To start the evening I ordered a glass of the Tempranillo since I was in a red wine kind of mood and it had been while anyway

  • Sometimes my eyes are just way to big for my belly and tonight I really wanted to play it sensible for a change

  • I went for the Monkfish while my friend decided the lamb was looking as equally tasty

  • I am a huge fish lover and with that comes ridiculously high standards and being over the top fussy

  • Well the Monkfish was pretty decent and teamed up with the beans

  • This time around I didn't even bother to ask because I knew with my slight obsession with anything dark chocolate related the Tarte was a standout over everything else

  • The Carrot Chiltern was also something we wanted to try out since I am a big fan of Carrot cake (especially my Mum's)

  • The dark chocolate was rich and goey and the toasted hazelnut ice cream topped it off just nicely

  • The carrot dessert was not what I had expected at all

  • Almost like an apple crumble with lashes of carrot peel and paired very well with the horse radish ice cream absolutely superb and incredibly different

  • A really great mixture of people and not with the pretentious vibe I thought it may have been

  • The price is actually very affordable considering that it is the 'It' place to be at the moment

  • A newspaper and some gorgeous sunshine is a good start

  • Check it out if you are lucky enough to get in im sure you are bound to spot some famous individual being pounced by the papps and the flashing camera lights

  • The food was spectacular and the service was second to none

  • The showstopper for me was the Panna Cotta and steak tartare (in the pictures)

  • Chiltern Firehouse is having a moment of glory

  • The sun dappled courtyard is charming but it&rsquo

  • The narrow hallways and fireman poles in the corridors are still there but the main dining room is large

  • I found Chiltern Firehouse was pretty good but no way near the level of exceptional likes that the press had mentioned

  • I couldn't help but to think it was driven by some well executed PR plan instead of the very food itself

  • The experience was thoroughly enjoyable

  • The waitresses here are in the cutest uniform ever

  • We shared a dark chocolate tart with toasted hazelnut ice cream

  • T say the food at Chiltern Firehouse is super incredible (except for the caesar salad)

  • The truth is that I was interested in going for it is a place that appears in magazines

  • Chiltern Firehouse (Marylebone) is worth booking and wait

  • Obviously thinking in Argentine pesos is super expensive

  • When the clamour surrounding Chiltern Firehouse was at its peak

  • The building itself is super cool

  • The restaurant is housed in a beautiful old red brick fire brigade station

  • The interior is relaxed and light

  • Starters I had the mushroom and vegetable hash with poached eggs and hollandaise sauce

  • Given an Asian twist with Thai basil and belacan

  • Pulled apart easily and was perfectly complemented by maple butter and smoked bacon

  • The Firehouse is a very pleasant spot for brunch in Marylebone if you can get a table

  • It has a perfect cozy setting which is very pleasant and they have good food

  • It is a beautiful building with a lovely courtyard

  • We had not booked but the staff was very charming nonetheless agreed to welcome us

  • The kitchen is open to the dining and was quick and efficient service

  • In my opinion it is a great place with fireplace and wood burning

  • The waitresses are dressed in gorgeous clothes

  • Specially designed for them by a stylist I was a guest for breakfast Great Food But the eating was quite amazing

  • It is worth for the beautiful renovation of the former fire station and the beautiful place is a must visit for everyone

  • What the heck was that all about anyway

  • Booking a table is not that easy and getting one makes a person feel like having won a lottery of sorts

  • Great ambience matched with nice (not exceptional) overpriced food

  • I am not one to be swayed by judgements passed by others and a visit was on my 10 things to do in London list

  • The conversion is very classy and I could not help but fall for its charm

  • The ambience is a warm hip where there is a right balance of formal dining with a hint of casualness

  • The waiting staff is excellent and the kitchen staff was happy to show me around the show kitchen

  • Exiting the place had its drama too with my group being led out through the service exit

  • Actually not that bad for a place that offers bragging rights along with great food (overall)

  • Reached early and the staff was kind to arrange a seat

  • Michelin starred food is not exclusively served in hyper expensive and painfully uptight hotel establishments and those irritating dress codes are mostly a thing of the past

  • Pierced and bearded chefs with a sense of insurrection repeatedly challenge and renew the establishment

  • The result of single gear enthusiasts sharing tables with city types while savouring the world&rsquo

  • It was only a few days ago that I was telling my friend how I&rsquo

  • Maybe my expectations are too high or my tastebuds are too picky but whatever the case

  • Handsome doormen are standing outside of this beautiful unexpected building

  • The place is set up obviously so you can see everyone else with the big mirrors along the wall

  • What was impressive was the octopus starter with aubergine

  • The main the Iberian pork was incredibly tender and succulent

  • I must admit I was a bit skeptical as I read the menu and nothing felt amazing

  • A chocolate tarte with salted caramel

  • The service is also very nice

  • We arrived at Chiltern and we were greeted straight away as we got out of the car

  • The walk in through the courtyard is gorgeous with candles and fairy lights and it was a beautiful evening

  • The service is impeccable

  • Starters I got the beef tartare which i felt wasn't the best I'd had but still delicious

  • Mains I ordered the turbot which i felt was just too salty and not enough flavour

  • My dad ordered the iberico pork and it was amazing so order that

  • The atmosphere is great and its definitely worth a visit

  • The only thing i felt was that you were being rushed to get you out for the next table as you can only be seated for 2 hours but otherwise I loved it

  • Seeing as last Sunday was actually my last in London for the year as I&rsquo

  • As the best part about having friends in from overseas is that every day is a foodie day while they&rsquo

  • American brasserie style with Nuno Mendes&rsquo

  • Firstly because the portions were smaller so it was easy for us try many dishes without getting too full

  • Secondly because the dishes on this menu was more experimental than the main dinner menu

  • Our number one favourite was definitely&hellip

  • They were not only cute looking but were also delicious and so moreish

  • It was reassuring to know later that we were not the only ones who gobbled these little gems down so quickly&hellip

  • We went for my boyfriend's birthday last week and I can honestly say it was worth the wait

  • The food delicious really good size portions and the whole setting was incredible real 5* quality

  • Would recommend the salmon for main and milk and honey pudding ( the Waitor told us this was a favourite there)

  • I like to take my time with food and enjoy every moment

  • I don't like to take too long to visit a new restaurant but unfortunately I had to with Chiltern Firehouse

  • The waiting list was a long one and any availability they had was usually 10 or 10

  • Would love to come back for brunch in the garden when the weather is nice again

  • Chiltern Firehouse is one of the places you need to book in advance to have a weekend meal

  • Wild sea bass which was ok but not amazing and the winner of the evening

  • 80 each wich was fairly reasonable for 1 Michelin star restaurant

  • It was just a pitty as Portuguese we are chef Nuno Mendes was not in that day

  • Also bare in mind that you are only booked for 2.5 hours

  • The kale buratta salad (horrible) the steak tartar is over flavoured and the cocktails remained after we left

  • Honestly one of the best meals I've had ever

  • Our server was so lovely as well

  • The dishes were average and the assortments a bit too original to us although we love fusion food and gourmet creations

  • Oblivious to the fact that it is frequented by London&rsquo

  • It was an endeavour to keep up with my culinary quest

  • Were told there were no tables outside despite there being at least 6 empty

  • Seated inside to be told that the table we were seated at was reserved basically trying to get rid of us before we had even ordered or looked at a menu

  • Eventually moved outside and were then told to move back in after an hour as they didn't have a 'licence' after a certain time

  • I questioned this and apparently they were 'hotel guests' which they weren't

  • I asked to speak with a Manager and after declaring himself as being the Manager a guy called Thibaut asked my name and said 'he would remember my face'

  • Even the security guys working there were absolutely shocked at the way he spoke to me

  • Their shocking service was just too much for me

  • Chiltern Firehouse is a fine dining restaurant named after the street it's located in

  • Chiltern Firehouse is renowned for its great and scrumptious breakfasts

  • I preferred to have an outdoor seating since the weather was perfect and that is what all of you zomators should do once you get there

  • I loved that simple yet decorative furniture and the staff is so helpful and welcoming to their guests

  • The eggs were on a corraisaint not on a bread which is quite unusual to say that at first

  • I never eat fish at morning but this was so delicious I had to break that rule 5/5

  • The omelette was so crunchy

  • The pancakes were for desert

  • It was covered in blueberry jam which was a bit sour to my liking and that's where the maple syrup does its job

  • Those pancakes were so warm and mouthwatering

  • You will be served complimentary butter filled corraisaints with some blueberry jam

  • After finding the slightly hidden entrance we were greeted by many friendly hosts who showed us to the restaurant

  • Unfortunately there had been a confusion with our reservation (safe to say I wasn&rsquo

  • T particularly impressed) so we were shown to the bar in the hope they could find us a table

  • We were invited to sit down at one of the best tables in the restaurant

  • The interior is just lovely

  • All Londoners have become far too acquainted with the difficulty of securing a reservation at this celebrity hotspot

  • Would the tables be empty if everyone is dying to get a reservation

  • It would seem like the restaurateurs are simply employing marketing tactics to position themselves as custodians of exclusivity

  • The service was very slow but i guess because of the atmosphere we over looked it

  • The service is fast and you get seated very fast even without booking

  • The setting is beautiful along with the entrance into the hotel

  • My first london dinner was At Chiltern firehouse

  • Apparently Chiltern Firehouse (Marylebone) is a very happening place where the beckhams are usuals

  • I have to say the place has a very nice vibe with open kitchen and most importantly the service is excellent one of the best

  • We tried Chiltern Firehouse (Marylebone) with some friends when we visited

  • I have to admit the food is very delicious and well cooked but for an Aussie earning AUD

  • The outside Dardanelles space is so cosy and beautiful decorations

  • Had the 'hand torn' parpadelle which was the dish of the day

  • It seemed to be highly in demand because getting a table for dinner on a weekend on a few days notice was virtually impossible

  • That was the only slot available and that was by the chef's bar

  • There was a subtle grace to the staffs' movements and how they interacted with the guests

  • The lunch selection was limited but there was variety of choices

  • We started off with the crab stuffed donuts and fried chicken to share

  • Light dough while the latter was tender and moist with a lovely ranch dip

  • The onion rings were thinly cut

  • The pork chop was very soft and juicy with the skin perfectly crisp and crunchy

  • The dishes we tried were all good but the emotional reaction we had with each was flat

  • I expected nothing less than the best but I was left wanting to be astounded

  • Whether Chiltern Firehouse is worth all the effort will depend on each individual's personal judgment

  • The Ceaser salad is quite a unusual twist from regular

  • This posh breakfast spot offers a great start to the day with scrumptious honeycomb &

  • The eggs benedict and eggs royale were ordinary though so you might not want to splurge on those

  • Shrimp lambs and Scottish salmon were really good

  • The service is good and prices are fair

  • We had breakfast and the food was delicious and high quality

  • We had poached eggs with avocado and eggs in a pot both were very delicious

  • They said that it's not allowed since the bar is only for guests in house

  • In any case this was my last time there

  • I felt the food was full of flavour and well balanced

  • I had a Bloody Mary which was made perfectly

  • The food was well balanced and full of flavour one of the best steak tartare's I have ever eaten

  • Ambiance was really good and the interior was very unique and different

  • Staff service is commendable

  • I tried the chiltern firehouse and it was a very good experience

  • The food is amazing and so tasty the ambience is good and very beautiful decoration
