Chandni Chowk (Southall)

• The main reason I went to this restaurant was because of its title
• Was a bit disappointed with the quality of the food
• The gravy dishes were way too spicy and oily
• In the given area there are many restaurants with the same cuisine which are definitely better than chandni Chowk
• The chicken was either raw or bad meat Chandni Chowk (Southall) needs to be inspected
• We ordered three types of chicken and they were all the same
• The waiters are rushing and careless and have absolutely no idea about service
• The paneer samosas are tasteless and so is the chatni
• It is spicy with the meet grilled well
• We visited this restaurant as we were in the mood for some chaat
• The chaat we had was not up to scratch
• The samosa and papdi chaat were disappointing
• Could have done with having more taste
• The desert was misleading
• It ended up just being a small glass dish with vanilla ice cream with some vermicelli and a little rose syrup
• Not the tall glass packed with yumminess I had imaged
• All other dishes were sweet for my taste
• I started off with some chat items papdi and aloo tiki
• Decent prices and food quality is fairly average too
• A casual place to eat out if you are looking for a quick munch
• As I mentioned if you are out and about shopping
• The Punjabi cuisines are just so mouthwatering
• What I would complain against is the Rasmalai
• The gravy of this Indian dessert was quite watery
• I'v travelled to Chandni Chowk (Southall) just to try out the Kheema Curry and after the wait and to tell you it was worth the wait
• Portion sizea were far too small
• Service was very slow and staff are not attentive
• The ambience is decent overall with very modest decorations
• Even though most of the outlets in the area are Halal food centered
• Please make reservations before going as the place is really good and always crowded
• The services was too good by the staff
• The quality of food was really good
• Especially the naans which were in variety
• Walked across the restaurant and realised I was craving a curry
• Cobra beer is great though
• Havent had such amazing aloo paratha in a while and was blown away by the taste and homely feel
• The sarson da saag was fantastic and butter chicken made the long travel to Southall totally worth it
• A go to place if authentic Punjabi food is what you crave
• Typical Chandni Chowk theme with photos depicting the famous alleys in the market
• The food is good and the service by the family members allows for a good talk with the locals
• Poor management and service is super slow
