Had dinner there with some friends a couple of weeks ago
-
Atmosphere was nice and got very busy when we left
-
It was chilly when we were there due to the nature of the places along that area of the market
-
They give you blankets if you want them and it's very cosy sitting there with a blanket and rum hot choc
-
Casa Morita is a small mexican dinner placed just within brixton market
-
The service is very helpful and gave me alot of advise on my order
-
I had a tortilla which was really fresh and really satisfied my stomach
-
One of the best Mexican restaurants in London I must say
-
The food is tasty and authentic with no over the top innovations
-
The sauces were impeccable too
-
I had the worst Mexican food in my whole lie and I was very disappointed by this
-
The staff was also not very attentive and they have no clue to what they are serving and what is their specialty
-
Casa Morita (Brixton) is very dissatisfying
-
The dishes mentioned on the menu are quite misleading and the actual dishes are different than what is promised in the menu
-
I am sure Casa Morita (Brixton) must have been good but our experience is completely different from what was expected
-
Why it was a horrendous experience was not only because the dishes were poorly served
-
Also because the dishes were poorly prepared
-
The service was also extremely poor and way below expectations
-
The food was refreshing and must say it was absolutely delicious
-
The drinks were also good and I really liked the Margarita
-
The portion sizes they offer are too less for the price they charge
-
We went to this restaurant as we were recommended by a friend to try it out
-
The margaritas we ordered were very delicious and spicy
-
The ambiance is warm and cosy giving a very comfortable appeal to it
-
The food here is very good and whatever we tired was delicious
-
The substitutes they used were also acceptable as the end result was good
-
Casa Morita (Brixton) will serve you some authentic dishes and the best part of these are that these dishes will be a treat to your stomach
-
The ambiance here is pretty good and for a Mexican restaurant that is a must in my view point
-
Casa Morita (Brixton) is a refreshing change from the other fake and pretentious Mexican options that litter the city
-
Casa Morita (Brixton) is quirky and inviting
-
Vegetarian tacos were well prepared and had mild but perfect flavoring
-
We ordered Guacamole which was prepared in front of us
-
Only downside is less portion size
-
The atmosphere was electric and the menu had a lot of healthy options to choose from
-
The quality of food was very good and the service was also spot on
-
The ambience was quite amazing and I am pretty sure that you will enjoy your time if you are planning to visit this restaurant
-
The place was empty though the staff was quite ignorant all the time
-
The food also was pretty average and overpriced
-
The service was lacking and I must say that there are other restaurants serving better quality of food and that too at reasonable prices
-
The unique thing about Casa Morita (Brixton) is that the food avoid any adulteration of fusion with other cuisines and so serves really authentic dishes
-
The staff is happy to help you with your order and the food tastes simply delicious
-
So I have tried almost every restaurant there is to try here
-
This restaurant is less busy usually
-
The wait staff was extremely unaccommodating of our allergies and refused to remove an ingredient from the menu
-
We also ordered the mojitos which were just as poor
-
So my recommendation is to avoid Casa Morita (Brixton)
-
So cutting it into half was next to impossible
-
Also i felt it was not worth what i paid for it
-
The food is strictly average and the prices are pretty steep
-
There are many better substitutes in the vicinity so it is advisable to avoid this one
-
Casa Morita (Brixton) is strictly avoidable
-
The dishes are so greasy and tasteless and the staff cannot be bothered less
-
The drinks are still better but only momentarily
-
The food was of very bad quality and I contacted the higher authorities to have a look but they were quite reluctant to admit that the quality of food was bad
-
This is the first time i am writing a review and that is because of the fact that i was unable to east my dish as it was absolutely unpalatable
-
The quality was way beyond the standard and it missed the Mexican taste by a long shot
-
We went for tortillas which were hard to even chew
-
You may be disappointed with the quantity you may get for the price you will end up paying
-
I reckon it is somewhat worth it
-
The atmosphere is tight and seems a little crammed up
-
You realise how Casa Morita (Brixton) is a good option to enjoy a good evening
-
Casa Morita (Brixton) is more of a hit and miss sort kind of thing
-
We did not try the food here since the drinks were so ill presented and then then the taste was just average
-
The place is nicely done with a lot of attractive advertisements
-
Ordered enchiladas with cheese topping
-
The presentation was disappointing and the portion size really small
-
Infact the price is high as well
-
Though honestly i have not had mexican food a lot to outright discard the place but this is my first impression
-
The service too was very average
-
I recently visited Casa Morita (Brixton) and was quite disappointed with the overall experience
-
The food was substandard but the price charged for it were quite more than what it deserved
-
I was quite disappointed with the echiladas
-
The service was pretty quick but the staff was not that attentive
-
It also sells Mexican products which are displayed along the walls
-
Casa Morita is a lovely home from home with lovely
-
Especially in the winter when it's market set up means the tiny space is swept by gale force winds whenever the door opens
-
' But this is minor given the quality
-
Order the homemade guacamole with homemade tortilla chips to start with
-
Then the pulled pork or prawns with rice all fab
-
Brixton village is attracting young Londoners to come dine
-
The latter are rarely seen over here
-
There were as many torta stands as there were taco stands
