Casa Malevo (Marble Arch)

• There is some good things and there is some bad things about casa malevo
• Let's start with the good bits
• Especially as you make your way towards the back which in my opinion is the best tables as well in the conservatory
• Probably the rest of the restaurant is a bit too dark as well compared to this last bit
• Generally speaking the quality of the starters is very good and they are well presented
• The service is very good as well
• Unfortunately there are a few disappointing things as well
• The bread they served at the beginning was a real let down
• I know for most a 250g or 300g steak is fine but it would be good if they had a smaller sized option as well
• Having had something similar at zoilo (whose founder is involved in Casa Malevo (Marble Arch) as well) I had great expectations

• The flavour and texture combination was unbelievable
• I had the Chimichurri beef burger with potato and leek gratin on the side
• The service was excellent without being intrusive
• As you find with London places
• The dining area is intimate and dimly lit with brick walls that create an almost rustic y kinda vibe
• The wine here is truly brilliant
• Their food is also good but at times inconsistent
• The interior has a lovely warm cosy feel and the friendly efficient service was much appreciated
• I really loved the sweetbreads with the acidic sauce
• Acidity played a key part in the Argentinian cuisine with two lovely sauces combing superbly with my steak
• The chimmi churri was the best of the lot and the potato and artichoke gratin paired well
• The steaks were ok and the dulce de leche fell a bit flat
• Great steak not sure about the service not happy with the ambiance decor
• The flavour the texture it was absolutely amazing
• Well i must say that apart from that sirloin steak everything else was quite average i could even say mediocre
• When asked the waiter he said they had a problem with the heating

• Downstairs they have a private room when i went to the ladies i could see they were all guys they were going wild very loud
• At the beginning was good we were welcomed for what looked like the manager
• When asked at the bar if they do cocktails barman replied WITH AN ATTITUDE we have wines we are not a cocktail bar
• If theres anything that makes me a bit anxious when i go to a restaurant is the waiter
• Something else happened with the dessert but im just tired of complaining
• The whole service lasted 4.30 hours i was tired wanted to leave
• The experience was far from pleasant I DONT RECOMMEND Casa Malevo (Marble Arch)
• Take a mask in case that waiter with stinky breath approach you and the most important write your order and give it to the waiter/manager trust me will save you some precious time
• The lemon sorbet was incredible
• Yummy food and combined with lovely attentive servers
