  • The restaurant is close to Ilford which has tons of Indian restaurants but this one is slightly more oriented for family/group visits in terms of seating

  • They serve some of my best foods such as there mushroom starters

  • The service is quick and efficient and great value for money

  • I thought I was done with generic Indians

  • Is pretty much just the food it was actually pretty good

  • Oh and the place itself was clean and well presented

  • As doesn't the inflexibility around how or when I was able to use my gift voucher

  • It doesn't take much to realise that fancy restaurants are actually in the hospitality industry

  • The bill came to a total of 70 quid or so which I thought was a bit too much considering what we ordered

  • Then on the other hand the portions were generous so perhaps we over ordered

  • Alas at the end of the day Caraway is just another generic Indian

  • On top of it they were extremely rude in explaining me their rules

  • Carway's biryani was as good as my Biryani on a bad day

  • The only saving grace was Kulfi Falooda

  • Only one other table was engaged British folks

  • Palak kofta is something I cannot avoid no matter how much I attempt to try new dishes on the menu

  • The service was really good even though it was a very busy night they still made sure we were comfortable

  • I first didnt like where I was seated but the manager came right away and put us on a bigger table

  • Definitely recommend caraway to all kind of groups if you are with your family or friends having a business meeting or are coming with your date

  • They do a wonderful goan fish curry and their biriyanis are excellent too

  • I love the way they are served in Indian copper dishes

  • The only negative would be that there are perhaps too many tables tightly packed in the restaurant

  • They are miser in quantity with really small portions

  • Main course is ok compare to starter

  • Caraway Is a indian restaurant in gants hill and not to be confused with a typical curry house

  • From looking at the interior and staff I would guess that this is a indian punjabi run restaurant

  • If you FANCY an EXPENSIVE MEAL served with INSULTS then this is the place you are looking

  • The waiters and manager behave as if they are doing favor on you

  • The ambience is almost near to a 4star restaurant

  • The last time I was here had to wait around 40mins for a table which I didn't mind as they was around 12 of us

  • I can understand the food was amazing didn't get as far as main course but the starters where nice

  • Tandoori chicken was average at best

  • Vegetable manchurian was terrible to say the least

  • As pointed by another reviewer the manager makes you feel he is doing you a favour

  • The chairs were past their best with some having foam come out and the decorations /paintings seems to have been done by a 10 year old ( probably by managers children)

  • Staff were very friendly and the restaurant was busy at the time we visited
