  • Went to Browns last week and was blown away by the staff and their excellent service

  • I rang ahead to make sure it was OK to bring in a cake and whether we had to book a restaurant table

  • The guy who answered the phone was very cool about it and said we could just have it in the bar area

  • Expertly handwritten 'Happy Birthday' in chocolate next to it and decorated the whole thing with raspberries and candles

  • All brought out with some ceremony

  • Nothing extra was asked of us it was done purely from the staff's own sense of professionalism and attention to making sure we enjoyed ourselves

  • Probably ambiance and the buzz is what you really go to these places

  • Browns (Canary Wharf) is crowded by bankers on most evenings

  • The bar is downstairs in the basement which is a welcome departure from the general theme for pubs across Canary

  • Most pubs around Canary Wharf tend to be overcrowded and really noisy so it is impossible to talk to anyone

  • The ground floor houses the restaurant while the pub is downstairs

  • I've never stepped into the restaurant and have stuck to the pub grub downstairs which is not too bad here

  • I happened to go to Browns last month with some colleagues after work

  • It is a nice cozy place with sophisticated ambiance

  • I tried the berry and pomegranate martini with a dash of lime

  • Staff was very courteous and service was absolutely great

  • The food at browns is very average

  • The seating outside is just excellent both on the ground and in the basement

  • A good spot for brunch when the sun is shining over London

  • Steams of water and busy hurried people is nice when you're lingering over breakfast

  • The service can be slow but the food is usually consistent with other Browns and on this occasion the Eggs Benedict were perfectly adequate if not terribly inspiring

  • The chairs are classic brown with dull and sober lighting mostly giving a touch of shiny gold theme

  • I went to Browns (Canary Wharf) with my two colleagues from work

  • Whatever we ordered was appealing and appetizing

  • I had to send it back to be reheated but it was brought back just as it had been but with burns at places

  • There are a lot of options to choose from with everything tastes great

  • The staff is proficient and the service is impeccable

  • The portion sizes are also generous

  • They serve really tasty drinks at an economical price and it is thus worth a visit

  • The staff at the bar is very amiable

  • The music playing in the background is also quite nice

  • I generally visit restaurants after researching about it on the internet but this time i did not do so and let me tell you i was not disappointed at all

  • The taste though is pretty delicious

  • Browns (Canary Wharf) is in vicinity of the museum and is a great attraction point for pre and post visit meal

  • The atmosphere is extremely relaxing for wonderful tea

  • The atmosphere was only average but it could be due to the timings

  • The service is general is pretty efficient and cordial

  • I am really satisfied with the place and know that i will return for sure

  • I was staying with my friends in the neighbourhood

  • We decided to have breakfast here since it was pretty much the only place open in the area

  • Found that it was completely empty

  • The prices are pretty reasonable

  • I went to the Browns for breakfast with my partner on a Sunday morning and it was quite empty when we went there

  • Unexpectedly the prices were very reasonable

  • The food is horrible at this cafe hence the place is not recommended at all

  • The sandwiches were just two slices of bread and the tea was pathetic and disgusting

  • The prices are ludicrous and the taste not even appetizing

  • The place is a rip off and is strictly avoidable

  • A lot of food was out of stock

  • All the food we did get was delicious and pleasing

  • The service is very attentive

  • The drinks here are absolutely delicious along with being very reasonably priced

  • The ambiance here is warm and makes you feel right at home

  • Since none of the other restaurants were serving outside after ten

  • I have been to Browns (Canary Wharf) multiple times along with my colleagues as my workplace happens to be nearby

  • The wine that was recommended to us by our servers was perfect and was complimenting our food very well

  • The dishes were appealing and appetizing and good value for money

  • The ambiance of the restaurant is absolutely amazing and it has been blessed with a very convenient and splendid location

  • The food was above average at best and the staff was inattentive and quite slow which was not worth the extra 10 pounds we had to pay as service charge

  • Ordered rare The meat was a bit sinewy

  • I asked for mustard for my chips and that was really good

  • Great ambience and style as it is situated in a rustic brick dockside building

  • The Pinot Grigio was sharp and delicious

  • We ordered the truckle of cheese with crackers (very good

  • It helps that it is located right on our doorstop but the menu just works for out tastes

  • Especially if there are a few larger groups

  • The atmosphere is a mix between brasserie and pub as there is a piano in the main restaurant but downstairs seems to be just a bar area for people to congregate around

  • Afternoon tea and dinner so whenever you are in need of something it is ready to serve
