  • My caesar salad was not exactly healthy but the fabulous dressing was zingy &

  • Husband's Fiorentina was exactly what the doctor ordered (in his words) and that and some garlicky doughballs later

  • We weren't sat in the bus as it appeared a birthday party was in full flow

  • We're already planning a return visit with a group of friends in tow to better appreciate the atmosphere and catch up over their large communal tables and a couple of vinos

  • When said children are at that awkward age gap it makes things even harder

  • S six months off being a teenager (but already looks and acts like one) and the other is still a child who wants to play games and requires a lot of stimulation

  • Even if the younger one is one of the fussiest eaters known to man

  • S more of a yard with a table football machine and some seating

  • Then Deptford is where you need to be heading

  • The overspill of Goldsmiths has definitely helped the success of Big Red (Deptford) as it was full with Students

  • The menu boasts a list of Artisan Pizzas with a whole range of different toppings

  • The Baby Chorizo with Dough Balls and Garlic Bread with Cheese and Honey were our starter choices

  • I think the dough balls could have been accompanied with a dip as they were a little dry and not very exciting

  • Coriander and a Lime wedge was the topping of the Brazilian

  • This was another great tasting Pizza with the added factor of Earth and Zing courtesy of the Coriander and Lime

  • Neither of the options was too sloppy in the middle and both were light and thin

  • T get round to these as we were off to the Model Market in Lewisham afterwards

  • The space has been used very well with a bar that was busy

  • A self contained Cinema which sounded like a club and garden with a sand pit out the back

  • With all these features the place is perfect for families with kids during the day

  • I know people are raving on about Pizza Pilgrims at the moment

  • Repping South East London and really good prices this is my new Pizza joint

  • This themed restaurant is a much more pleasant experience than it's exterior would have you believe

  • Mozzarella and hot chilli) and it was certainly the best meal I've had on a top deck even including boozy Friday night bus chips slathered in sauce

  • I wonder whose genius idea it was to have a bus as a restaurant

  • The interior is more spacious than is seems and much cleaner than typical public transport

  • I opted for the veggie Gardinera which was delicious and didn't take too long

  • My only concern was the tipsy people tend to get a little rowdy in the smoking area outside

  • You can opt to sit inside the bus itself or in the restaurant area that faces the bus and this was where we were placed &ndash

  • I quite liked being in dimly lit restaurant with the vantage point of being able to look at the bus and see the diners inside it

  • The lighting is dim and any apprehensions regarding pretence

  • ) or it being too staged are rapidly allayed when we walk in and see rows of pinned pictures of London buses drawn by local children

  • As we are welcomed with smiles and drinks &ndash

  • A good array of mocktails for me (their Virgin Mojito was so zingy and refreshing) First impressions

  • It is family friendly and it is cool but clearly not too cool for school

  • Well fed is not the word to describe how things were to unfold over the next couple of hours

  • The feast commenced with grilled chicken skewers served with lemon and rosemary &ndash

  • These were so light and perfect for spring with a burst of citrus tang but I just loved the Caponata (roasted aubergine with herbs and spices)

  • The beetroot salad though was strangely moreish &ndash

  • This was a working day and I was starved salads and proteins weren&rsquo

  • A selection of pasta dishes including Bigoli pasta with Italian sausage and pesto spaghetti featured but the pasta highlight for me

  • Had to be the fresh ravioli with chervil and lemon butter &ndash

  • Presented invitingly and with such a creamy filling

  • I managed to squeeze in just a couple of slices of pizza (both of which were gluten free)

  • T complaining about but the problem with having a sweet tooth (or in my case

  • Sweet teeth) is that there is always room for dessert

  • We were spoilt rotten with three of them

  • Chocolate brownies (which were in handy bitesize chunks

  • An alcohol infused knickerbocker glory and a banoffee pie with a luxuriously sweet toffee sauce

  • Attentive and welcoming and whether you are coming with a group of friends to celebrate an occasion

  • They also have a room with a stage used for live comedy and film screenings

  • The vinaigrette was tasty and slightly sweet probably made with white balsamico and garlic infused olive oil

  • The lamb ragu was too overpowering a sauce for the subtlety of a good potato gnocchi

  • He did complain that the toppings were a bit dull

  • Nderlust is a new pop up restaurant that is housed in The Big Red on Deptford Church Street

  • Who is part of Fleisch Mob and this is their newest venture

  • With it being Sunday we obviously ordered the beef with all the trimmings

  • T see under the beef is the most amazing carrot I have ever eaten

  • I am SO fussy when it comes to cooked carrots and these were beyond words

  • The new owner is very friendly

  • The ambience is very chilled and the food is amazing
