Bella Italia (Covent Garden)

• Located in the heart of Leicester Square and two minutes walk from Leicester Square station this Italian restaurant is one that must be paid a visit
• The prices are reasonable
• The pizza/pasta is absolutely authentic and this is possibly one of the most genuine Italian restaurants I have been to
• It is usually quite busy and having to queue outside is not uncommon
• Conversation is still possible
• The interior is quite dark and romantic
• The staff are friendly and helpful with regards to making suggestions
• Being a student I have tried my level best to go to those places which offer student discounts
• This happens to be one of the best amongst them in my opinion
• The Leicester square location is superb for a casual meet up with friends and family
• I had ordered the Calamari for starters which is my favourite and they did full justice to it
• In addition to that I had ordered the garlic bread which in itself was a meal and was scrumptious
• I had ordered a pizza and a pasta (I was not the only one eating
• Both of which were authentic and delicious
• What is difficult to beat is the location of Bella Italia (Covent Garden)
• Bella Italia (Covent Garden) is stone's throw from theater which was was the key reason for pulling us here
• Otherwise there are a lot of restaurants who have potential to dish out standard Italian cuisine
• The restaurant has a nice atmosphere that is bound to be a good backdrop for a fun night out
• The way they serve us with the italian food is simply superb
• 3) Service is moderately Fast
• There are lots of varieties for meat lovers and also for vegetarians plus their drink menu also compliments the food which is being served
• Not to forget simply any kind of pasta with your own choice of sauce
• Bella Mega Grill is also a good choice if you are steak lover
• My favourite starter was taken off the menu
• Plus once I was finished I always felt bloated and over full
• Excellent if you are off to the theater or the Prince Charles Cinema
• That does mean that there is a very fast turn over at this restaurant and the service isn't particularly personal
• This particular venue is conveniently located between two tube stations so it is easy to get to
• The price per person tends to be appropriate considering it is a chain restaurant and there is plenty to choose from on the menu
• Like I often feel with other chains
• That the meal is always just alright
• Rather only traditional perhaps with a tiny twist
• I was surprised with the time and effort the chef puts into the presentation of the food
• Especially seeing as the restaurant was quite busy
• The restaurant is small and always very busy
• The basic pasta and pizza were enjoyable but nothing special
• Bella Italia (Covent Garden) is terrible and the food is so poor and expensive
• Visited here with my Italian family only because it seemed a cheaper and less busy alternative to the restaurants nearby
• The decor is so old and shabby and the place is dirty and crammed with low quality tables and chair
• One of the best Italian restaurants I've been in
• Their penne pasta with red sauce was ok
• The lemonade is very zesty and goes well with the food
• The pasta I ordered was vegetarian arabita pasta
• The location of the place is perfect and I'd recommend going here in the evenings
• Awesome italian food at an amazing place with reasonable pricing
• Food is served well and the portions are also adequate
• So whenver in London I make sure atleast one of my meal in the whole trip is at one of their outlets
• Personally a fan of Irving Street one as that is road facing and has lovely staff
• With light drizzle it was lovely to sit outside but as there was a group occupying d only place that one could sit on due to rain
• With more than 60% of restaurant empty and knowing it was 10.30 means not expecting too many customers they gave d corner most seat which in the most dingy area
• Outside area was empty by then and decided to sit outside as the view and weather demanded that
• The pasta was good as far as the flavours were good but had huge lumps sticky pasta strips on the plate
• Nothing great to write about Bella Italia (Covent Garden) as the whole experience was anyways ruined due to the giggling incident and lumpy pasta
• Would I go back never to this outlet but my love for this chain is still not down the drain
• The courgette and pea piadina I had was nice enough
• The service was terrible to put it mildly
• Some leeway since it was a busy day
• The service was fairly efficient and quite pleasant
• Like every other restaurant very few vegetarian options but the ones that i had were really good
• Though the staff were brilliantly coping with an exceptional busy time
• I ordered vegetarian pizza Campagna Pizza which I was having for the very first time
• Different combination of toppings and glaze was the reason I tried this pizza
• It was a classic hand stretched pizza with Red pepper
• Despite being busy we were served very nicely with staff coming to the table often to check on us
• We tried many dishes and I was hoping to fall in love with a pasta dish from here
• They lacked flavour and pasta was overcooked
• Straight out of the oven and was very enjoyable
• My first experience with Bella Italia was not so great except for garlic bread
• All other dishes of pasta (main cuisines of Italian menu) were not so good in taste
• Service very slow and poor even though it was practically empty
• Pasta was undercooked and and had no tomatoe taste even though it was supposed to be tomatoe based
• The bread served with mushrooms was poor quality and dry
