Bacco (Holborn)

• There is so much of choice that we were spoilt for choice with Bacco's menu and ended up ordering alot of food because everything was sounding so delicious
• The Parma and mozarella cheese was melting and plentiful and my linguine with rabbit and broad beans was the sort of light
• We had a Bartholdi Rose which was pale salmon pink and full of fruit
• The staff were so friendly and attentive and it was just a great night
• The lamb especially was delicious and worth every penny
• Our waiter was hilarious and made sure we were well looked after
• In general this type of restaurant is out of my price range but it was worth it
• Bacco Restaurant and Wine bar was not somewhere I had heard off prior to Zomato providing me with a Voucher to use on a meal there
• Bacco is a fairly large and attractive venue with some outside space
• I suspect due to its location in Holborn that it is busiest during the week
• I booked a table for Saturday evening when the restaurant was very quiet
• Certainly ensured that we were well looked after by the friendly and professional staff
• La carte menu and enjoyed our starters of mixed Italian cured meat served with pickled vegetables and salted almonds
• Main course we ordered Tagliatelle with slow cooked veal ragout
• Parmesan and Pappardelle with pork cheek ragout
• The prawn tartar and the Pappardelle were very good indeed and the other two dishes we ordered were fine too
• To summarise I would say that the food here is good but overpriced for what it is
• The set price lunch menus are better value
• Graduation is an important milestone in most people&rsquo
• S fair to say that I was just a little excited to discover Dane Street
• Last night it was the waiter helping me put on my coat
• Bacco was great both with food and service
