Babbo Restaurant (Mayfair)

• The starters that our group had ordered were simply amazing
• They freshness of the mozzarella and the preparation that seemed to have gone into the dishes was well worth the slightly exorbitant price tag
• The wine menu was pretty extensive and we were recommended a good selection by the staff
• So ordering stuff was taking a little longer
• They were still very helpful and serving with a smile throughout
• Just make sure you have a fair idea of your appetite because their portion for the main course are on the extremely small side
• Prices are a little bit expensive for an Italian Restaurant but the dishes are really good
• I'm sure you'll agree that the plate was totally beautiful

• He even came out to talk us through the menu and tell us some of his favourite dishes which was such a lovely touch
• Elizabeth and I were having a lovely time discussing blogs and blogging and where we thinking of taking our blogs in the future and then the main courses arrived
• Charming room and good options with well executed pastas as well as healthy alternatives such as the salmon carpaccio
• One note is several dishes tend to be a bit sweet so watch out for that if you are not keen on sweet and savory combinations
• Intimate and brightly lit inside with nice natural light flooding the entire restaurant
