Assaggetti (Mayfair)

• Arriving when we were getting up
• Really shame that happened 'cause the food was quite good
• The restaurant is in prime location
• Pretty much shoulder to shoulder with another Italian restaurant
• S pretty spacious with two floors
• Only one of which was being used
• With all of the tables that are crammed in to the tiny room
• It was a pizza that was cut up in to 4 small slices
• It was the perfect size for one person and was genuinely quite nice
• Crispy enough because the dough was quite thin &ndash
• The dough to filling ratio was a little excessively skewed
• Doughy enough but with enough bite in it
• To my surprise Pizza was rectangle shape and yummy
• One of the best italians I have tasted
• The burrata was way too small and I felt that the mussels needed a sauce to top them off
• Gnocchi alla nutella was the best dessert I have ever had
• The panna cotta was also delicious but the portion size was incredibly tiny
• Lasagna and baked aubergine were all delicious
• It also had arugula on top and it was very tasty
• Thin dough complimented with a variety of ingredients
• Portion sizes are a bit of an issue at this restaurant
• The staff are super friendly and also speak Italian which is a great boost
• The decoration is cozy and the seating was comfortable
