  • One of the best places to have your dinner in London

  • Same music they kept on playing and after some time it was not so soothing

  • The menu card is a little confusing

  • Also some of te items are really same item with little change

  • There are two varieties one with lamb piece and one with kabab

  • Be sure to book as it is always full

  • Give the combo kebab meal a go to try their different meats (and ask for the special rice with it that has the almonds and sultanas)

  • If only there was an app that would help you find them

  • Leak flat bread was nicely cooked but could've done with more spice

  • Not sure why Daniel Walker thought ordering yoghurt by itself was a good idea

  • Aushak which is dumpling with leeks

  • Not bad flavours but needed more spice and was only lukewarm

  • On the plus side the naan was out of this world

  • We had meatballs with chickpeas and a chicken stew

  • 26 for 2 which is fairly decent

  • Considering we were the only customers

  • Paying a few quid for yoghurt is a rip should have come with bread

  • 1 fee to pay with a card even if it's debit not credit

  • My first visit was exactly the opposite

  • The pavements were glistening

  • The North London streets were heavy with the melancholia that pervades the &lsquo

  • This was Kilburn on a Tuesday Night and I was off to eat Afghan food

  • A charming waitress with a gorgeous smile delivered the menus and informed us that it was BYO with NO

  • Not blessed with a huge choice

  • I returned with a couple of bottles of perfectly acceptable Australian Yellow Tail which

  • Incidentally there is also an Aldi supermarket further up the High Road which does some superb wines for bargain prices

  • My main course was chicken and lamb skewers

  • One of each cooked on a charcoal grill served with a generous salad and brown basmati rice

  • 11.00) Both were deeply succulent and lightly spiced

  • Ed okra with pieces of lamb served with white rice and salad

  • A lovely dish bursting with meet and okra

  • Side vegetables were two of my favourites Aubergine

  • 7.00 each) The juices all moped up with a bottomless supply of amazing fresh baked Afghan bread

  • While eating my eyes were drawn to a striking framed poster on the wall of an Afghan Girl with green eyes

  • The subject of the photograph was called "

  • An Afghan woman who was living as a refugee in Pakistan during the time of the Soviet occupation of Afghanistan when she was photographed

  • The image brought her recognition when it was featured on the cover of the June 1985 issue of National Geographic Magazine at a time when she was approximately 12 years old

  • The Afghans despite the country having been at war for most of the last 35 years or so are so immensely proud of their country and culture and she seemed genuinely pleased that I had asked

  • Pricing and service were excellent so it&rsquo

  • S no wonder the place was so busy on a Tuesday night

  • It was still raining when we left and the girl in Speedy Noodles was still dancing and singing to herself

  • T help wondering whatever happened to the Afghan girl with green eyes in the photo

  • Each and every time the food was incredible
