Anjappar (East Ham)

• The Ambiance in the restaurant is not that exceptional
• The presentation of the food was not good and the soup was terrible
• It is accompanied with onion raita and curry
• Location is very close to Train station and the service is generally good
• As a guy from Chenna India I was so excited to see Anjappar branch opened in London EashHam
• Soup and other dishes they were so delicious in the beginning but the quality seems to be degrading on every visit
• Food not as great as in Tamil Nadu and taste is lot different
• As soon as I entered I was greeted with a smile by a very cute waitress and there on the journey was amazing
• Prices are reasonable and the service is very eventful
• The quality of service was probably good
• Ferrero Rocher ice cream was really good
• My husband's falooda was a major let down
• Nothing like falooda he is used to having in other places
• The Biriyani was as good they serve back in Chennai
• Four of us were marching towards Saravanaa Bhavan when we inadvertently failed to make it past Anjappar
• Both of which went very well with the Biryani
• It tasted like it was pulled from some gravy and added to the Biryani rice
• I was not disappointed with the experience since I had resolved myself to expecting Chennai levels of service
• With that unique Indian flavour including whatever was imparted by the waiter dipping his thumb into the bowl of Biryani while transferring it to the table
• You will be rewarded with an authentic Chettinad experience
• Tried Anjappar (East Ham) twice as I was happy with the chennai restaurant of theirs and thought maybe they will improve
• The Indian Chinese dishes like fried rice were good but never make the mistake of ordering chappatis and you will be kept waiting for another half an hour
• Quantity of food is good but lacks quality
• If Home styled yummy Chettinad /Deccan fingerlicking hot yet flavourful food is your thing then walk right in
• The best part is it's quiet decently priced not too cheap like other joints in the Vicinity a
• Well versed with the menu and prompt
• Love most of the stuff on the menu but the Following are a Must try
• Lachha Parathas are crisp yet soft just how they should be flawless
• All their chutneys served with dosas and idli are
• Served in the Authentic way with spicy red gravy and fresh whipped curd
• You can check with the staff about the different vegetables for the day as they tend to variate daily for the Thali
• I went to anjappar as they are one of the only indian restaurants that serve non meat and is also halal
• Chicken was on the bone and was not very fresh
• Awful experience last Sunday food was so bad and complained to the manager he just didn't care
• We ordered loads of dishes none of them was up to the stranded they were before
• It was empty when we entered and was not very welcoming
• The place was filled with couple of families and bachelors by the time we left
• Had chicken porotha for the first time which is really good
• Try their cheese naan it is delicious with chicken curry
• Authentic Hyderabad food full of spices is the signature of Anjappar (East Ham)
• Their chicken is awesome along with kerela parotha
• Good place with friendly staff and nice ambiance
