Yocoko (Old Town)

• One of the best Chinese restaurants in the area
• Very filling and with unlimited free green tea excellent value for money
• Busy restaurant and with tables lined up closely you can end up virtually sitting right beside a stranger which adds to the fun
• I asked a few friends to come along with me as I was excited to show them how noodles are served in Hong Kong
• I was appalled to see they gave me a bowl full of noodles with a few small pieces of wonton filled with a couple of small shrimp I wish I had taken a photo to demonstrate what I mean
• We indicated to the serving staff who was eager to come to our table
• When we asked for a pot of green tea (which was free on the menu)
• I'm not sure how a business can be run successfully when staff are treating their customers so poorly
• Steaming bowl of ramen was served up to each of us
• The vegetables were perfectly cooked
• Though none of us finished because the portions were so generous
• In the middle of the road with Yocoko (Old Town)
• Im married to some one who used to live in Hong Kong so there is a high standard here
• A nice place with authentic food and reasonable prices in the city centre
• The prices are very cheap and the food decent
• The portion is a bit smaller than usual and tasted saltier
• Overall the service and the place is really comfy
• It's really cheap and the broth is just refreshing
• Good thing that the server is a filipino so it was a big help for us
• The service was very fast and all of the food that we ordered taste great
• A simple restaurant that is as much about take out as it is dining in
