Peter's Yard (Old Town)

• My raspberry and cashew scone was a good size but was dry and a little bland and to be charged 30p for butter for it felt cheeky
• A friend's tomato and Wensleydale soup was tasty and the breads are also meant to be very good
• A while ago I did have one of the best meals in recent times at the Stockbridge branch which does very nice pizzas
• Peter brings a dominating minimalistic sun lighted place with glass windows
• While Peters Yard is more of a Bakery than a coffee shop
• Their layout with the food in the middle of the cafe
• The coffee is more often too hot and comes across in a tarnished flavour in the coffee itself
• The food though is not that bad
• The selection of treats on the central table is something that I am fast conquering
• There is such a great selection of food the soups are always delicious
• My favourite though is the hot chocolate
• It's very close to the uni and is a nice place to take a break in between lectures or for those long day in the library
• The cardamom hot chocolate is one of my favourites
