Oink (Old Town)

• It's probably best to avoid Oink though as they have such a limited menu that they hardly have any vegetarian options that would make a good lunch
• Leaving a person with a strong yearning for the glorious meat
• Just as well they have assiduous staff who cope remarkably well when faced with a deluge of pork craving loons desperate to taste a flake of the meat
• The prices are a bit steep
• Especially for what is a one course lunch
• The quality of food is of a high level
• Everyone that goes here does not leave with a bad word to say against Oink

• I got the adult portion and it was too big for me
• I didn't get any crackling so feel disappointed about that but that was an after feeling as i was unawares i was meant to get it so at the time of eating I was so happy with the soft bread
• I am not a massive fun of pulled pork buns but when I had some friends visiting and one of them really felt like having one of their sandwiches I must admit I was happily surprised
• Perfect to eat on the go if you are around the area

• The pork is melt in your mouth moist and the flavours are definitely there albeit subtle

• So one of our friends in Edinburgh recommended Oink (Old Town) and so it was the first stop we made after our 2.5 hour train ride from York (on the way from London)
• We had the piglet with sage and onion and apple sauce
• S very rare to enter an establishment and be greeted with smiles by all the staff
• Version but was still big enough to feed me
• Their food is out of this world
• I ordered the Oink with Brown bread and BBQ sauce
• My partner was eying to visit this joint as soon as we landed in Edinburgh
