Gourmet Burger Kitchen (New Town)

• The only downside is that a side of fries is not included in the burger price
• Not only that but student discount is available which lets you get a whopping 30% off
• The chicken was fresh and grilled to perfection
• GBK also offers a small range of free refill drinks of which is my favourite strawberry and elderflower sparkling drink
• The menu is full of a range of burgers all with interesting names we had burgers called The Taxi Driver
• Billy the Kid was one of the 4 or so veggie options on the menu which was amazing
• It was made with goats cheese and grilled aubergine
• I also ordered a milkshake which was quite expensive for a drink but it was huge
• The staff were great and the service was pretty quick
• Fries are not included with the burger so we had to order them separately which made it quite pricey
• * The staff are always super helpful and friendly
• Personally I recommend (as quite a pernickety eater) the grilled chicken burger with salsa and lettuce alongside skin on chip fries/skinny string fries and a milkshake (more on them later)
• Its totally worth it the Honeycomb shake is one of my favourites
• It a good place to meet with friends or family and me and my friends often use it as meeting point to catch up
• Best burgers in town and the sauces and milkshakes are also delicious
• Also the staff is very nice and the manager super friendly and professional
• Seriously if u are a burger lover u must visit Gourmet Burger Kitchen (New Town)
• I know its a burger place but my one point is the milk shakes
• My juice (strawberry and elderflower) was really nice and having unlimited refill for just
• I tried the Peanut Butter Milkshake and I really liked it as well (it is a bit expensive but it is worth it)
• The cheese truffle fries were different from what I use to eat and I liked them
• I had 15% cashback so it was at the end a decent price
• I kept telling my friend that it must be one of the best I've ever had coming in and out of the UK since 2010
• I've eaten at GBKs in London and I was thrilled to find one in Edinburgh
• Lots of vegetarian options The Californian is highly recommended
• Burgers and fries are decent enough but GBK in general is a little too pretentious for a burger joint and the product is quite generic
