Fredericks Coffee House (New Town)

• ) I like it for catching up with friends and for their cakes
• The coffee is amazing (I'm italian
• )) and I had a delicious chai latte with the biggest muffin of my life
• The service was lacking here they only had one cook for the place so they were a little slow and only brought out the meals one at a time which was a little disjointed
• They were extremely apologetic which is nice to see
• Their Camembert was scrumptious and their cakes helped with our chocolate fix
• Their food was a nice lunch spot
• It's a beautiful spot to bring a friend with their comfy chairs and view
• Staff sit about talking to (what I'm assuming) are their mates
• Fredericks Coffee House (New Town) is the perfect safe haven
• Mouthwatering selection of cakes special mention to the scone which is fluffy and absolutely monstrous
• Their coffee is excellent with a discount on takeaway as well as an excellent loyalty card
• I usually come here for meetings as the place is quite big and the location is superb
• They're also opened after work so if you want a quiet place to chill and have a conversation this is a good pick
• Their coffees and teas are nice and the cakes are wonderful
• The staff members here are super nice here
• The cafe itself is located in a nice place
• I was glad to ser that everything on the menu was very affordable
• The size of the cafe is great as well since there is plenty of room to move around even though it was busy
• At Fredericks the chairs are also big and comfortable to sit on
• On my first visit I had the sweet and sour marinated chicken ciabatta which was very tasty but on my second visit I had the nachos and I was extremely disappointed
• It was a very big portion but all of the cheese was on the top and it was very bland
• Among all the hidden small basement cafes of Edinburgh thus one really stands out with nice spacious interiors with view over city centre
• My waffles were superb and this is an easy recommendation from me
• FREDERICKS is a nice place for coffee and lunch
