  • The guys will suggest the best beer to match

  • Couldn't believe how busy it was for a Tuesday night

  • Had booked a table and we were a little cramped in a corner but understandable as it was so packed

  • Salmon starter was a little tasteless and the main course beef brisket was a little on the small side

  • The menu is odd in that there is very few starters and desserts to choose from but lots of main dishes

  • I'm assuming that since they have not long opened and it's a very busy time they are still finding their bearings in the kitchen

  • The servers were polite and there was a great atmosphere

  • Being packed to the rafters with what appeared to be mainly business folk indicates The Beer Kitchen (Old Town) will be busy long after August disappears over the horizon

  • T be recommended if you are wanting a quiet bite to eat

  • It was kind of a disappointment as it was just a bit average

  • They could have been a bit more generous with the fillings but my friend got the burger and chips which was incredible

  • The place itself is really quirky and staff were really nice

  • The Original is also a classic

  • They also serve Delirium Tremens (amazing blonde Belgium Ale) which is quite rare to find in bars

  • The Beer Kitchen is the first offering from Innis &

  • Their beers are now available around the world

  • The Beer Kitchen has been open since before the festival but it was only now we were heading along

  • I've been to The Beer Kitchen a few times now although my favourite visit was definitely the launch event

  • We've tried a couple of their burgers ( as well as a whole host of tsar sized portions from the launch event) and they were tasty and hearty

  • We were fortunate enough to be invited to launch event which was fantastic and I have been itching to go back since

  • We got some nibbles only this time which were yum and we have tasted the food previously so I know its good

  • Probably the best bar in Edinburgh especially if you are an Innis and Gunn fan

  • Most of the customers are people enjoying after work drinks

  • The haggis donut was delicious but when I saw the size of my fish and chips I realised that I definitely did not need a starter

  • The fish and chips were also great

  • I love a lively atmosphere so it was great for us

  • The lunch menu has a number of appealing options and as we were still fighting off the dreaded lurgy we opted to have a sandwich with extra chips

  • M not quite sure what we were expecting from our sandwiches of pulled ham hock and fish fingers but we were certainly very pleased to see what arrived

  • Except the fish finger sandwich was literally a massive bit of fish sandwiched between two slices of chargrilled bread

  • My ham hock was well cooked was the right combination of salty and sweet

  • Fluffy chips was exactly what we needed to help us fit the lurgy

  • The service was pretty quick and friendly

  • The list of beers is fantastic and there are more than just Innis &
