Happy Seasons (Chinatown)

• I did not have Chinese for a long time and I was determined to try some duck this time
• Happy Seasons is a usual Chinese eatery
• It was late at night so heavy was not an option
• Ordered the chicken with soya sauce and seafood tofu
• Came here once every fortnight when I was in Manchester
• I can say it's the best Chinese food I already taste
• As a family we have eaten here lots of times and the food is always fantastic
• Our waiter tonight was not as friendly as they usually are
• He then left another waitress to clear our table without helping her because of him we felt we should not tip him however that would be unfair on the waitress who was lovely and the restaurant itself
• What ticks me off is the poor service attitude
• Especially if you are there to celebrate a special occasion
• Everything that we had was simply superb
• (Kolkata btw is the only city in India which houses not one but two Chinatowns now
• Sliced pork with bamboo shoots
• We had a lot of other dishes too but the above were our top choices
• I remember one weekend when we were waiting in a pretty long queue and elderly British Gentleman asked loudly &lsquo
• Can anyone tell me why there is a queue only at Happy Seasons (Chinatown) even on weekdays
• Well the answer is in the question itself
• S the best best here and I found the food here as good as the food I&rsquo
• M going back again and am going to make sure to dine in there as many times I can coz Chinese food is one food I can have daily alternating the dishes with the bowl of rice on my side
