Vinoteca (King's Cross)

• Unfortunately the food was a let down
• We sampled a few bar snacks which were all fine if nothing special
• My venison main was a fail overly dry and sinewy venison
• The other mains in the mid to high teens may have been better options there was positive feedback on the steak
• Restaurant was pretty full but still a few tables available
• The wine menu was huge but a little overpriced
• Our first interaction with the waiter was a weird one
• The risotto was bland and very stodgy while my potatoes were in a light dressing which didn't taste of chestnut at all and should have been named potatoes with chestnuts
• A few of the potatoes were still raw in the middle
• 55 which would have been reasonable if the food was up to standard
