Vineyard (Islington)

• All the restaurants in the area are of high caliber
• Vineyard's best perks are its vibrant and lively atmosphere and its gorgeous outside seating area
• The best meal for me out of the vegetarian options is the French Goat's Cheese &
• The appeal of the Vineyard is clear from the offset as you enter the bar via the outside seating area
• Separated from the street by arches emblazoned with the pub&rsquo
• S name the outdoor area is a swarming social hub which is almost always full on week nights and on the weekends
• S the perfect place for smokers as they can easily coax their non smoker pals outside with the comfy seating (there is even a sofa in one section) and heaters
• To drink I had a pint of Grolsch which is quite a rare offering in London pubs
• The wine menu is great ranging in price from about £
• 20 for a bottle so is good for those on a budget or if you have something to celebrate
• All in all this is good place to come for drinks
• They have a great outdoor seating area that is super relaxed
• The service is quite rapid
• The selections of drinks and food are pretty typical bar options
• They have a good selection of beers and their bar food is fairly good
• I had their house burger which was nice and the jacket potato with cheese which was also pretty good
• They're not pretending to be a gourmet restaurant so if you're not expecting anything special you'll be happy with your bar food
• The weekend is already here
• Great bar towards the top end of Upper Street with large outside area with benches at the front inside is pretty roomy too
• My favourite thing about this bar is the prosecco on tap for about £
• We arrived at 1145 and it was still closed with one employee sitting outside smoking who informed us they open at 12.00pm
• We were informed there was only Roast beef for today
• Is fine but when it came out the meat was tough and over cooked and the veg tasted watery and like it had been in the freezer too long
• One of my friends found a best before sticker stuck to the underside of her slice of beef
• Another friend was informed 20min after ordering that they didnt have any veggie burgers left
• We had to ask again if the rest was coming to which the response was
• The only thing Vineyard (Islington) has going for it is the outside sitting area
• Sunday roast was 2 thin slivers of over cooked beef with frozen vegetables and the smallest Yorkshire pudding
• The courtyard is a lovely area but I will not be coming back as it is not worth the frustration
• Kitchen and wait staff need a massive wake up call because that was the worst dining experience I've ever had
