The Blue Legume (Islington)

• The Blue Legume is a very nice brunch place
• It took me 30 minutes to decide what I wanted because everything looked delicious and then I was not disappointed by the result
• The atmosphere is warm and comfy
• In the summer the terrace is also available
• The food was excellent (definitely do the octopus and chorizo) but it was outdone by the service
• I think I was more grateful for the potatoes that came along with it very very well seasoned
• Ordered the apple crumble and some coffee to get rid of the sleepiness that was about to hit me

• First thing to note is the staff were very pleasant and genuinely seemed eager to please
• Last I checked Highbury and Islington was not in the Lonely Planet's top 10 in London but I wouldn't be surprised if they'd have a "

• I ordered vegan courgette parcels stuffed with vegetables and served with potatoes on a side
• He was awarded with a large portion of tolerable moules
• The Blue Legume is a lovely restaurant with great service
• The decor of the restaurant is rustic and cute with pots and pans hanging from the exposed brick walls and botanical illustrations is wooden frames
• The waiters are friendly and attentive and the atmosphere is really nice
• It seems like they've tried to combine too many kinds of cuisines and you really cannot decide on what you should be eating because you cannot tell what their speciality is supposed to be
• I had a french toast with plum compote and it was quite tasty
• You are guaranteed food that is reasonable both in taste and price
• As I said before the place is usually encouragingly occupied by customers
• T a fan of wandering children then I would avoid The Blue Legume (Islington) in the day as a notable number of these seats are filled by toddlers
• Such a large selection means that each dish is ok rather than outstanding
• Both of which can be served with a choice of two or three different salads which was simple and fresh
• The restaurants interior is lovely so I would recommend The Blue Legume (Islington) for coffee meetings with friends
• We passed The Blue Legume and our attention was caught by the intimate and cosy setting inside
• Ginger and carrot is amazing and you mustn't leave the place with tasting their Banoffee Pie
