Vietfood (Chinatown)

• S location down the Chinatown end of Wardour Street is a rather apt one
• The restaurant is based on the south side of Wardour street
• I went for lunch with my friend Melissa Foodie
• So we only managed to get a table on the ground floor next to the entrance with a view of the kitchen
• I've heard a lot about Viet Food in Chinatown from fellow food bloggers so I thought I'd try it out with my friend B
• The only seats available were at the counter by the windows facing the road
• We were cool with that because the restaurant goal was "
• It did become slightly awks when passersby stopped and stared at the menu which was placed in front of us
• Its very very busy so we were seated with other people
• Viet Food in Chinatown sounded very promising with an former Michelin starred chef in charge
• One of my favourite food genres is Asian street food
• The place was busy but luckily there was a table for us
• I'm not sure if this is normal in London
• Food is always best when being shared
• Another perk is that you get to sample multiple dishes and allow your taste buds to go take on a ride
• Spanish tapas and Chinese dim sums are the perfect example
• Concept in London with the likes of Talli Joe and Hankies Cafe
• The experience here at Vietfood is much more laid back
• All the specials get served with a salad of salad
• The seasonings were very Vietnamese and tasted authentic
• The environment was rustic and cozy
• Pho with beef spicy and chicken breast with lemongrass
• The 3 pork bun was fresh and the combination of the homemade meatballs and the grilled pork belly added to the fresh vegetables made for a very pleasant meal
• The crispy spring rolls were done very well crispy without being oily amd lots of great flavours inside
• We decided to duck in here while roaming the streets as we were very hungry
• Couldnt try the pho as it was not halal so the owner suggested all the seafood options
• Noodles and a gravy with some very delicious drinks
• Visited Vietfood (Chinatown) with my family during my vacation in London
