Via (Canary Wharf)

• The cocktails were quite forgettable
• Go for something safer which does not involve creativity and skills from the bar tender as that is surely to leave you disappointed
• Makes it one of the few places where you can drink beer and play pool with your mates
• The service is abominable and slow
• All this was until we discovered the hidden trough the inner room with 2 pool tables and TV all around
• The only reason we stepped into Via (Canary Wharf) was because someone handed out a '2 for 1 cocktail' coupon
• The cocktails were horrendous (my Whisky sour was only sour with no whisky) and the staff incompetent to the extent of appearing mentally retarded
• Outside there is a well light
• Inside the decor makes you feel as if you are within a large old pirate ship
• The acoustics are poor however and thus it can get hard to hear
• All in all it was a good evening and it is easy to get there with west India port station just next door and canary warf station just a 5 min walk away
• The meat platters are tasty and filling and reasonably priced
• Depending on the time of day with the thousands of workers that work in close proximity
