Trade (Spitalfields)

• The design ethics to the seating layout these are things that fit in comfortably within E1 because these are things we have seen before
• What's great about Trade (Spitalfields) is that it delivers on all the other fronts too

• Trade (Spitalfields) is like a hole in the wall in one of the not so well developed areas off Whitechapel Road
• It would be difficult to notice it if one were walking past
• The aroma that greets you once inside is very enticing
• With ample use of wooden benches which are crammed into every which corner of the smallish seating area
• This does make life a bit difficult if you are here to spend some time
• The latter could be improved by serving it with melted butter and more syrup
• So that future generations can know that it was there and it was good
• The cakes are absolutely delicious and are clearly made by someone who clearly enjoys what they are do

• The pancakes are mouthwatering
• I got super lucky that this cute little place was 1 step away from my hotel

• The food menu is limited but looks tasty so hope to come back for the smashed avo
• The soy milk they use is clearly not made for baristas as it curdled in the cup
• Or maybe the coffee was so bad it just curdled in disgust
• The coffee made with regular milk was no better
• Is really saying something as the bar here is set pretty low to begin with
