Towpath Café (Hoxton)

• Is probably why coffees are above London average
• I was quite lucky to spend a sunny Saturday morning getting rid of my hangover with the fantastic coffee they serve
• Once found a seat I was determined to stay there for hours and honestly I didn't have to try too hard
• Most tables are outside so can't imagine the ambiance on a rainy day
• If you are in the mood for a complex brunch offering then this is not the place for you
• Breakfast menu is simple fare
• On offer that day was granola with rhubarb compote
• First have brunch with friends on the Broadway market
• It's a pleasant cafe with decent coffee and deliciously lookig cookies
• If the weather is favourable
• You could spend a whole careless afternoon at the cafe just chilling and chatting with friends and watching East London society at its finest
• I had a cup of tea with a gluten free rice tart you can see on the photo
• The latter was actually really pleasant
• This little cafe is a stonesthrow away from the Broadway Markets
• Tucked into an apartment block it is tiny inside
• Most of the seating is outside and we happened to come at the perfect time at 3pm to get a table in the fleeting sunlight
• The atmosphere is laid back and relaxed and a great place to slowly sip at your coffee in the sunshine
• I just had eggs on toast and they eggs were cooked perfectly
• Breakfast is my fave with eggs on toast
