  • A much better choice for dinner with visiting parents or corporate clients who will be overwhelmed by the view

  • Sitting up 128 meters looking over London with an amazing view is reason enough to try out the Ting resturant

  • My panacotta was one of the best I'd had

  • S restaurant that offers European food with an Asian twist

  • In keeping with the rest of the hotel TĪNG oozed calm

  • Mandarin and coriander was beautiful &ndash

  • Plump and earthy scallops perfectly cooked with punchy mandarin striking the perfect balance

  • T overwhelmingly cheesy with plenty of robust chorizo giving a rich flavour offset by the langoustine

  • The Dark Chocolate with griotte cherries

  • S version was unusually short and flat with strawberry compote

  • The dress code stated it was smart/casual

  • Pastries and yoghurts are scattered throughout the room so no scrum or queues

  • The afternoon tea is served on the 35th floor making this the highest afternoon tea in London however the food is some of the worst I have ever come across

  • The gluten free sandwiches were soggy and the waitress didn't correctly tell me what the filling were unfortunately they weren't eatable

  • I think they provided me with a vegetarian gluten free version for some reason but they were disgusting

  • The gluten free scones were dry and overcooked which you can see from the photos

  • Unfortunately the normal scones were apparently even dryer then the gluten free scones

  • The normal pastries apparently were tasty and were the best part of the afternoon tea

  • We both had the Snow Bud Tea which was divine however it took over 30 minutes to arrive and was never replenished during our afternoon tea

  • The service at Ting was appalling waiting for 1.5 hours for the afternoon tea to arrive at our table was unacceptable

  • To start with tea was ordered and was given a while becore the food arrived

  • The chicken sandwiches were amazing and incredibly moorish

  • The others were nice but not amazing

  • Soft but did not have raisons which was a dissapointment

  • It was also near the counter for payment and was not to get the attention of the staff although even though this was constantly needed

  • This view doesn't come cheap with a ticket to the viewing platform setting you back nearly £

  • Those more savvy have figured out that one way to beat the system is to dine at one of The Shard's fine restaurants

  • Settling on an establishment is no easy task

  • Tower Bridge and Canary Wharf as you are delighted with an à

  • La carte menu of authentic Asian specialties with a European twist

  • Our night started with a not so oriental order of pita and hummus but quickly proceeded to mains of nasi goreng and a real personal favourite of mine

  • Both were dish were of a high quality

  • The dishes were quite generous meaning you still feel you got value for money even though you are paying premium prices (primarily for the view)

  • Granted you're not just there for the food and the view in which you dine is spectacular with uninterrupted views of London in all its glory

  • I highly recommend doing so by paying a visit to the Ting Lounge you get a meal at a costs not too dissimilar to if you just got viewing platform tickets and the food is pretty great to boot

  • Extravagant restaurant with very friendly staff

  • Amazing decor of the place with an incredible view over London

  • I went there for an anniversary dinner and it was truly a perfect romantic place for the occasion

  • The Afternoon Tea is served on the 35th floor so this is most definitely the highest Afternoon Tea you will experience in London

  • My gluten free sandwiches were slightly different to normal

  • Chicken and anchovies however the only one she got right was the mushroom

  • Unfortunately the sandwiches were very soggy and weren&rsquo

  • High Speed Elevators (just in Seconds up to the Restaurant) the rest is just Relax and Enjoyable Fine Dining

  • I went to ting when it first opened and it was nice but the service wasn't what I expected

  • The service was great and we had a lovely view beside the window

  • The decoration and amount of detail perfectly capture the aura of the Chinese Culture with an elegant and modern twist

  • I got the hand dived scallops topped with yuzu sauce

  • The main was not substantial on its own so best to order sides

  • The ambience and the setting are definitely beautiful

  • Had the lamb loin was not the best meat

  • I returned to the highest hotel in Europe to indulge in one of the best Indian meals I&rsquo

  • Ting Restaurant is a British Asian fusion restaurant located on the 35th floor of the Shangri La hotel at Shard
