Patty & Bun (Marylebone)

• Getting here for a burger was high on my list
• What good is it if the fine dining scene is spectacular but the street food scene is uninspiring
• I've always loved burgers and it is a meal pretty much everyone enjoys and loves so I thought it would make the best test of the culinary foundations of London
• I have tried to capture all sorts of atmospheres with the restaurants from the burgers made in the dingy corners of Soho to the more decadent burgers made in glamorous Mayfair
• BAR BOULUD This was my second visit and fortunately
• The second was that strolling past Patty &
• I found that there was only a twenty minute queue
• Re lucky stars when a queue for a burger is less than an hour
• Well it shows just how far us Londoners are willing to go for a good one
• Burger joints still are the go to place when you need a treat
• Patty & Bun (Marylebone) is very popular but I was soo surprised it was small
• The burger and wings was okay but I wouldn't want to go there again
• A tiny place with a very compact menu
• My first reaction was on how the choices were limited
• Have to say that this was one of the messiest burgers I've had but it was delicious
• Especially ask for the chilly sauce to go with your burger
• The only downside was that as soon as you would finish a part of the meal those attending the table would come and snatch the empty container or the wrapper
• This almost felt like we were being rushed through the meal
• I went to Patty & Bun (Marylebone) with a group of friends on my engagement celebration
• Highlights and my favorites were the smoked haddock foam with the poached egg yolk and cornflakes
• I can honestly say each course was a pure delight and each dish delivered the same high standard
• We had the wine accompaniments with each course which complimented the courses well
• The Ari Gold burger is the one I always go
• I've never had to queue at Patty & Bun (Marylebone) but I have walked past when there are queues and let me tell you
• The beer of choice here is Red Stripe
• The dining room is tiny so there is usually a queue
• Going around 9pm only had one person In front of is and was seated in 5 mins
• I love a good burger and when I set off on a mission to find the best burger in London
• I think we picked our time just right because the line was significantly longer when we went inside than it was when we joined it
• The restaurant itself is pleasantly casual
• The walls are decorated with sharpie drawings on cardboard
• This is really a spot for a quick bite so the ambiance (while pleasant) is less important than the food
• I was really impressed with the Smokey Robinson burger (£
• Hands down to the best burger and chicken wings I've tried in London so far
• Queuing for around half an hour was not much of a problem knowing what was about to come
• Juicy medium cooked beef and super tender brioches can only be topped with the great rosemary salt chips
• The Ari Gold and Smoked Robinson burgers are absolute winners
• Service was quick an efficient even having in mind how busy the place was on a Friday evening
• I ordered the Ari Gold cheeseburger with bacon and the chips served with roast chicken mayo and chicken salt
• The chips were delicious and tasted like potato crisps and the mayo was a perfect side
• The cheese and sauce were oozing together with the rest of the ingredients inside the sweet brioche bun
• I would recommend Patty & Bun (Marylebone) to anyone who is after a burger in London
• So Patty & Bun (Marylebone) was recommended by the highest amount of burger lovers
• So when a girlie dinner was suggested I grabbed the opportunity with both hands and took the girls to Patty&
• Bun is a snazzy little burger joint with only two restaurants
• She insisted to try out the burgers there which are a hit amongst the crowd there
• The set up is small with cramped seats for a big guy like me though they compensate all in the amazing food they serve here
• I had the chicken burger and I wanted my patty crispy so it was a perfect choice
• The fries food not came with the burgers but they were crispy and perfectly cooked
• Had wanted to find out what all the fuss was about with P&
• Disappointed as although the beef patty was substantial and moist
• It lacked flavour and the brioche bun was crumbly and fell apart half way through eating
• So not the best in London by a wide margin and although probably intentional in this hipster hangout the offstandish waiter attitude was not really called
• Get the chicken skin sauce with the chips and put some on the burger
• Must try the fries that come with the roasted chicken mayo dip
• I'm just not the biggest fan of the smokey bbq sauce that is their signature
• The best burger joint in London with my fav burger being the Jose
• Would also recommend the chicken wings which are the best I have ever had

• One name that comes back over and over again when I ask people around me where to find the best burgers is Patty &
• Menu was great with a good variety of beef burgers and a option of a chicken burger
• Beef burger was juicy and nice
• Chicken burger was ordinary the chicken was not crispy at all
• We ordered wings as well that was again not crispy
• The Smokey Robinson with the fries dipped in P&
• B's signature hot sauce is all you'll ever need in life
• Probably the best chicken wings in London
• The burgers are amazing too and the smokey Robinson with bacon and great sauce make this a winner
• The skin was so slimy with no char which is personally something i cant swallow
• The waiters are absolutely marvelous
• Love the place and the service was great friendly and fast
• Probaly one of the best i have ever had in London
• Note that the place is full most of the times (Friday/S/S) but if you are willing to wait 10 minutes you should be able to get a table
• One of the best burger spots I&rsquo
• I'm not a big fan of the no reservations policy or the very loud music but the burgers is consistently good
• The atmosphere is real London feel
• The burgers are dirty by design
• It's messy and delicious with cheese oozes
• Both smokey Robinson and Ari gold are both must have burgers here and my favorite
• Ari Gold is more savory while smokey Robinson is more on the sweeter side
• Their Ari gold burger and the bbq wings are my favorite two dishes there
• I'm not sure of the weird forms of legality that come into play with the food and safety here
• My first experience of patty and bun was at this branch
• Loved it while I was in London ❤️
• By far one of te best veggie burgers I've tried in London
• The French fries on the side were crispy and seasoned with rosemary salt
• Service was quick and staff were super friendly
• Love the vibrant ambiance at the place with the friendly staff
• In addition to that the food is amazing (as usual) and the wings with their signature spicy sauce is simply heavenly
• Chips were the bomb and the staff were super friendly
• This small place is a hidden gem
• You sit in wooden tables that are crammed together
• I got the Ari Gold cheeseburger with smoky house mayo and it was so yummy
• Well if you are a burger freak then you have to dine in here
• You should definitely try it but you have to go empty stomach because the quantity is huge and quality is really great
• The only bad thing is that you have to wait for like 30 mins to get your fresh burger
• Burger with bacon and chips with rosemary salt
• Theirs cheese balls were awesome as well
• Chips with roast chicken Mayo is what you love trying at patty and bun again and again
• I'm not a big burgers fan but this is my fav burgers in London
• We did Ubereats (we were staying at the hotel in CBD) and ordered Hot Chic Burger
• Both burgers are too delicious and the beef was tender and juicy
• One of the best burgers I have ever had in my life was a The Truffle Meister special from here &ndash
• Aged beef patty topped with truffled short rib
• The chips with rosemary salt are great and the Rum Punch was sweet and smooth
• I had the smokey Robinson burger and shared the a chips with roast chicken mayo and chicken skin salts and the patty fried chicken
• The caramelised onion was great and the beef was cooked perfectly
• Went there hearing that the ari golf burger was the best in town
• One of the best Chicken burgers around
• 9 for a tasty burger with a great atmosphere and lovely staff
• Service was very good and friendly atmosphere was also very nice and quite busy
• T the best what I ever have but was average for price fries we get little bit colder but still ok
• Probably the best burgers in town
• Limited menu and yet everything is Uber delicious
• The Ari Gold cheeseburger is my go to meal with a nice cold craft beer
• Lovely spot for a nice hang out with a bunch of friends
