Sugar & Spice (Queensbury)

• No attendant at the entrance to help with the seating
• Once settled down which was after 10 mins of entering the restaurant
• Was prepared with chicken dipped in Orange batter
• When we told the waiter that chicken 65 is not prepared the right way
• He was totally unaware that there is a fast food dish with this name in the menu
• He didn't even try to ask and confirm with the kitchen if he was in doubt
• Reason for 1 rating is it's very close to the Queensbury station
• Service team was confused with the tables and didnt expect much from Sugar & Spice (Queensbury) since it was half empty on new years eve
• Yes it is more of a sports bar and yes the decor is not the Ritz but good food and nice friendly staff
• Remember this is not a fine dining establishment so don't expect the same
• Value for money is fair for the portion size
• The lamb byriani was cooked well with no powder ingredients showing allowing flavour to settle in
• Lamb curry was not over powered by tomatoes and the after kick is refreshing as opposed to Hot
• Ideal for families adults with kids for dining
• Food quality not good and the manager is not ready to listen feedback
• I thought it was about time the ladies wrote a review of Sugar and Spice
• Visited the place with my daughters
• We had gone into Regency next door and it was awful (the men can have it) we walked into Sugar and Spice and were made to feel very welcome and give great advice on food
• Sugar & Spice (Queensbury) was truly amazing
• The staff welcomed us as soon as we entered the door and guided us to the best seats possible
• The restaurant was family friendly and to make our lives easier
• Each table comes with a special button which alerts the waiters getting their attention effortlessly
• The food was made to order ( you were able to request any specifics such as mild
• ) and service was absolutely amazing
• If only all restaurants were as comforting and inviting as this one
