The Sparrowhawk (Crystal Palace)

• Gastro pubs seem to be on the rise in Crystal Palace by all accounts and with a friend recently buying in the area I felt obliged to visit both
• A great portion with a handful of potatoes and a huge yorkshire
• The veg wasnt plentiful but the beef was outstanding
• The atmosphere was light and airy and the furnishing very tasteful
• With a good menu that changes with the seasons
• My burger was particularly nice with caramelised onions and a brioche bun
• Staff are nice and the room is big and airy
• The tiny 'garden' would be lovely to sit in were it not full of smokers
• Drinks are standard 'London prices' now but the food is reasonably priced
