The Southampton Arms (Kentish Town)

• Again a great boozer with a monster selection
• The simple bar snacks are what you would expect and dream of from such a place
• Most of which were a bargain (these days) at £
• Taking me to the Southampton Arms certainly was a step in the right direction
• The Southampton Arms' selling point is its dedication to serving only beers and ciders from independent breweries
• Tiny but full of energy with a piano in the corner and old pictures all over the walls
• There's also a little beer garden outside which is great in summer
• Probably the best pub in London
• A friendly mixed crowd so there is always someone interesting to talk to
• 3.40 a pint the prices are very reasonable
